We're going back to Pinterest again as I invite you to explore My Favorite Candles Pinterest Board with over 200 candles of which at least 20% of them I have actually owned and favored from personal experience! It would be hard to go wrong with these beauties! I also pinned quite a few do-it-your-selfers if you like that kind of thing (tea light holders are fun and easy to make)! In either case, I just know you'll find the candle that lights your way to a brand new and uniquely inspired design! (I'll be joining you late Saturday as I have to work in the morning. Please DO start without me though - I'll catch up! LOL)
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
I am so happy to be back stamping after being so sick for 2 wks. Such a great board Audrie. I don't know how you find such great sites every wk...thanks so much!

Forgot to take pictures of this one! I made this card on the spur of the moment last night - and then went to the Candle Site and picked out a inspiration that would fit this card ... in other words I worked backwards today!

Audrie- awesome site, thanks! I was inspired by the Spa Decor candles and went with SU's Bells and Boughs for my layered main image. Added a floral frame, and brought in the gold with an ornate button. Here's Framed Flowers- TFL!

My inspiration came from this candle: Baby Shower Favor - Damask design candle favors. My hubs and I celebrate our 7th anniversary in May so I decided to get a head start. Here is my card. I may be posting others because I was inspired by several candles on the site! TFL
Just had to do a 2nd card which I'm sending to Wendy for the MMTPT338 Challenge. My inspiration for this card is Spring's Eden Candle Tin. I love the variety of flowers and colors on this image. This has been a really fun challenge! TFL
