THIS WEEK I DECIDED TO GO FOR SOME REALLY DIFFERENT COLORS TOGETHER, AND NO GREEN!!! (CHALLENGING MYSELF WITH NO FLOWERS!!!) SO THE COLORS I CHOSE ARE:
REAL RED
CRUMB CAKE
EARLY ESPRESSO
TO MAKE OUR CHALLENGE, "A REALLY CRUMBY ESPRESSO"
AND FOR DESSERT, (SINCE THE COFFEE IS LOUSY) WE WILL GO FOR A DOUBLE DECKER DESSERT - MAKE TWO CARDS, AND USE AT LEAST TWO PUNCHES ON EACH ONE!!! SO HAVE FUN WITH A DOUBLE DECKER DESSERT!!
TO HELP YOU WITH SOME IDEAS, HERE WE HAVE SAMPLING FOR YOU:
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC515 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here.
Vicki, thanks so much for selecting my card from last week ~ I feel quite honored! Thanks also, for all the work you girls do to bring us the challenges each week; they are always something to look forward to in the day!
Hugs

Rich earthy colors Karen, love it! It already has me longing for my Valentine gift from DH. One year he gave me a dozen chocolate dipped fresh strawberries from a local handmade candy shop. I asked him never to get me flowers again, unless I could eat them and they tasted as yummy as the strawberries. Many lovely cards today!

Great colors! I used my tag makers for the first creation, and SU scalloped border and scalloped square punch for the Gift bag for dessert. First- I made a tag, adding a mini tag, and a twine tie. It's fun to use a holiday stamp out of season! CC515 Joy2U tag by Crafty Julia - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
For the second- the gift bag- used my new metal buckle embellishment- with this gift bag- adorned with brown flowered washi tape. Used both a scalloped square and scalloped border punch, along with a Sizzix bigz die- bag with scallop edge. CC515 HB Gift Bag by Crafty Julia - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I just received my order of Stampscapes stamps (thanks to SCS Inspiration challenge of a couple weeks back I am now hooked on them)
I thought creating a monochromatic scene of tan to brown would be nice for this challenge. Adding the punched items however was a stretch, but in the end I pulled it off.
Here are my cards for the, CC515, color challenge. and the, SC525, sketch challenge. Hope you like them. Thanks for the fun challenges, and thanks for looking.
