I'm back with another challenge from the Ways To Use It team! It's that time of year again. We have just finished a bunch of holidays and are back to school/work. Germs are spreading and people are getting sick. Did you get your flu shot? Today's challenge is to create a get well card to send to someone in need.
I have attached a couple of samples today. Sabrina and Lisa are helping me out with wonderful cards. Remember to use the keyword, WT513, when uploading your project so that we can all see your creation. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for this challenge HERE.
Need help linking your project? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your project and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your project window. Highlight the address for your project. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Great challenge, Toni. I've been in the Sickie camp for two weeks now; DH joined me there at the weekend so when he saw this card he said it was for him.WT513 Get Well Wishes
Timely challenge, Toni, with it being flu season....and the flu shots not being as effective as they had hoped. : ( Good to have a card on hand. Thanks.
I had fun recycling a cardboard clothing tag, and some yarn for my card- yes, I have a cold, too- but the holidays have been so fun with family visiting! Here's Feline Wish

I don't know anyone who is sick, but I know a few people who can use cheering up, so I went with a "Thinking of you" card instead (close enough, right?). My card is HERE
I needed a card for a girlfriend, who is going to be getting a new knee soon. She is a bike rider, golfer, dancer, etc. so she will LOVE this card. Thanks Toni for the perfect challenge.
ive been sick for 26 days now. :( one virus after another piggybacking. it's been horrible!
Oh my, I feel for you. I was feeling sorry for myself with a different type of ailment from the flue every day. I am thankful they all did not hit me a ONE TIME. It has been almost a week of different stuff! It is sad, to not have any other commitments but not feel well enough to go into the card room to PLAY!
I hope you improve QUICKLY!
I took one of the inked pages from the other project to create a quick get well card for this challenge. While I wasn't 100% thrilled with the way the watercolor wash applied to the paper, using this "leftover" as an art piece worked out quite well. It is HERE

Get Well Tilda is toting a tulip for the recipient---This is my second card for this challenge. (Sweet Magnolia Stamps) What I was doing really was trying out SU Blendabilities for the first time. But even more fun was playing, also for the first time, with the so-easy to use the Mini Perfect Layers Tool (by Perfect Paper Crafting). OH did that tool solve a WORLD of problems for ME.
Here's My Card
