Posting in the thread automatically subscribes you to that thread (if your settings are set that way). When you are subscribed to a thread, you will automatically receive all posts that are added to that thread. This is important because hostesses will update you on the swap by posting to the thread.
If you are not getting the thread updates, your subscribe settings might not be set. To manually subscribe to a thread, click on Thread Tools towards the top right of the very first post. In the pull down menu, click Subscribe to this Thread.
To see all of your subscribed threads, click on Quick Links (found just above Thread Tools). From the pull down menu click Subscribed Threads. A new screen with all your subscribed threads should appear. Notification should be set to Instant.
Is anyone going to be Hosting anymore Inchie swaps? I loved the one I was in last year..."100 Inchies" or even the Twinichies swap? You can pm me if you like and let me know... I love making these.
((((hugs)))) Robin
You can view your profile and see that it says you are a member of the group on the right. Or you can post in a swap. If it allows you to post, you are in the group.
Once we are approved to join the group, are we required to participate in a specific number of swaps to stay active or can we just lurk for a while and be very selective in what swaps we join?
I've hosted many swaps on another site with much success but also know that there are times when I just can't take on anything outside of normal life and want to be sure that I will be in compliance before I apply.
Thanks!

You are welcome to lurk and join when you would like
This is the first rubber stamping organization I have joined.
I originally started stamping in the early 80s but gave it up when my own business took all my time. I am now retired and returning to stamping, starting all over again.
I am interested in swapping post cards, mail art, and ATCs.
I am also interested in hearing from stampers in the Palm Beach County area.
This is a first for me so please forgive me and let me know if I am in the wrong place. I am interested in hosting a swap! I find I have a huge deficit when it comes to masculine cards! I'd like to do a swap for any occasion but it had to be manly! Anyone interested in doing this with me? If so and you have hosted a swap before and are willing to help me please respond with tips to my email [email protected]

I suggest you first start with How to Host A Swap. It may answer the majority of your questions. Also, check out the active card swaps and participate in a couple to get a feel for hosting.

I had posted earlier that I would like to do an ATC swap but heard from no one.
I have 5 books on ATCs and the 'tone' of the ATCs shown is mainly feminine - as opposed to masculine or neutral, in terms of themes, use of photos, colors, etc.. This is an observation, not a criticism. Perhaps those ATCs are more 'personal' than subjective, such as ATCs regarding travel, color, pets, humor, etc.
I'm still hoping to trade ATCs. Peter- [email protected]

Did you try to host an ATC swap in the ATC swps subform? Most swappers don't read this thread. I would start there or join an ATC swap so you can get other ideas.
