Challenge Title: Hue, Tint, and Shade Hostess: dini (Dina K) Keyword: MIX100
VIEW THE GALLERY FOR THIS CHALLENGE HERE
Happy Mix-Ability day! Are you ready for a color challenge?
For this week's challenge, we're going to be referring to the color wheel below. On this wheel, the ring marked HUE is made up of the traditional colors that we normally see on color wheels. To the outside are SHADES, which are essentially "hue + black". To the inside are the TINTS, which are essentially "hue + white".
On your project choose 3 main colors - one from each ring. You can choose any colors you wish, as long as one distinguishable shade, hue, and tint are present.
Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HERE for a list of supplies you could choose from. If you want to start these challenges in the pages of an art journal instead of a card, or on scrapbook pages, or on 3D items - please know - ANYTHING is welcome! We want you to learn and enjoy!
Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX100) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. Then come back to this thread and paste a link to the card in your gallery so we can all ooh and ahhh! Go forth and create!

Since I still have all my Christmas card makings out, I figured keep going and be that much ahead for next year. GREAT challenge, Dina, with a little color theory thrown in.
Here's the best I can do. I know all the colour theory from when I worked in fine-art supplies import and distribution, but I'm no artist and find it hard to put into practice!! MIX100 Stencilled Skyline
I am so sorry Dina! I should have put your name there - this was a fantastic challenge!
