I am totally addicted to Rubber stamping, I also Cross Stitch and maybe one day I'll dip my toes into Scrap booking as well.
I have to say I have been lurking here for a while plucking up the courage to post.
I love looking at the Gallerys you have on here and all I can say is wow what a bunch of artistic stampers on this site, I just wish we had SU in this country.
Hi Barbara,
Welcome, new friend! I LOVE rubber stamping and cross stitching too! And I love the UK. This is such a great place to hang out. The best people are here! Have fun!
Welcome Barbara :!: Don't worry, you'll catch on to posting real quick, I know I did :!: I was in London about 33 years ago and unfortunately haven't made it back since. I remember alot about it and of course have pics of a lot of things. Would love to go back someday. I have a friend who just moved back to Scotland last month. Maybe some time I can get over to see both of you :!: Happy posting :!:

Welcome Barbara! We are thrilled you found the courage to escape from Lurkdom Land. Make sure you upload some of your creations. We love sharing the joy of stamping with others!
Welcome Barbara!
I lived in the UK 5 years ago for 2.5 years and LOVED it! I'd go back in a minute, even with kids now. We were in Berkshire, a little village called Cookham. I even taught in a British Infant School and had an incredible expereince. Welcome again!

If you want to meet up Barbara, I will be shopping at Blade Rubber Stamps in London sometime between Jan. 27 and Feb. 2. If you can come to London, I'd love to meet up with you at the store.
We can arrange a date and time. Email me if you are interested.
Hi Barbara, welcome to SCS! I have family in England, one of my cousins even has an art supply there. You'll have so much fun looking through the gallery here, it's amazing!
Welcome Barbara!
I have a good friend who lives in Ringwood which is near Bournemouth. I have spent many wonderful times with her in the New Forest and in all the wonderful places in that part of England. I haven't been there for a while and seeing your post made me realize that it really is time!!
Enjoy your time here. This is a great site.

We lived in England for a few years and we just fell in love with it. We wish we could go back. My husband has family there.
