It has been CRAZY stormy here in Seattle. This week lights went out on two separate occasions, so I looking forward to a calm weekend of crafting! This weeks' inspiration site is absolutely the warm and cozy thing to help you settle into winter crafts. I would like to invite you to join me at Pendleton USA! You'll be sure to find more than enough warm and cozy inspiration to go around!
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Pendleton USA site.
Use the keyword: IC471 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites (plus one that I found worth a smile!)… so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Terrific site with LOADS of inspiration. When I spotted my chosen image, it sparked an idea to use something that I already had for making my card. Thanks.
It wasn't easy finding something to do, but i did find a cute little ornament that I thought I could case. I just wish I had the plaid ribbon as the picture shows.

Audrie- great site! I was inspired by the Chief Joseph Pillow with its wonderful colors and used a dc, sponged leaf as my central image. Added some dps, and washi tape, along with green rafia. Finished with a handwritten sentiment. Here's Christmas Leaf

Thanks for the fun challenge, Audrie! We love Pendleton around here...my hubby loves their wool flannel shirts & wears them all the time. I made 2 really quick, simple cards:
I was inspired by the wonderful Christmas Ornaments on this week's Pendleton site, and got out some plaid matstack, made a tag, with a smaller tag as my sentiment, colored in gold. Added a Dots candy image, and a dc snowflake. Drew in some holly and berries, and finished with a button/twine/ribbon combo. Here's my Snowflake Thanks Tag
