Ready for a new Mix-Ability challenge?!! We hope you're having fun with these! Our goal is to make mixed media easy, approachable and FUN! We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it! Have you seen our Mixed Media forum? I have found so much inspiration there!
I love clean mixed media, as you know, and one of my favorite ways to pull that off is with small vignettes of mixed media projects on some lovely white space.
So today - it's hip to be square! Remember the inchies craze? They are an ideal way to showcase gelli prints, those sheets you clean your brayer on that are surprisingly pretty - or just to practice creating scenes in small spaces.
So your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to use 1, 2, 3 or 4 inchies or twinchies on your project, each one DIFFERENT, and each one featuring two or more mediums.
I can't wait to see what you do!
Remember to use the keyword MIX97 when uploading your creations to the gallery, come back and post a link, and let us "ooooooh" and "ahhhhhh" over your works of art!
Having just spent the last few days playing with my new Gelli plate, I am armed and ready for the challenge. Now the real challenge will be finding time!
Gorgeous samples ladies! I am looking forward to stretching my brain with this challenge later on today. It will be my first official, intentional, mixed media project! I'm excited! But first, I have a crafting deadline to meet!
Needed a Navy retirement card and had made some red white and blue Gelli prints the other diay with this card in mind. Thanks for the challenge! Inchie Twinchie Mix
Darn, I should have re-read this after work instead of relying on my pre-breakfast memory. I didn't use inchies...back to the drawing board. I'm hip, clean and square but NOT MIX97, LOL.
I will try this again when I have more time. This was a race against time with fading sunlight - and looming international package post deadlines ;-). MIX97 Inchie Tag
And this is what I made before I re-read the challenge: I'm Hip, Clean and Square (but not MIX97).

Oh what fun this one was I finally decided to cut in to the newspaper piece that I had in the bottom of my spray box because it is so pretty with all the sprays. Here is my card.
