Happy Thanksgiving, all!!!! Since the holidays are fully upon us, let's go easy does it. Today, I want you to make a very simple holiday card that can be easily mass produced. For me, a one-layer card is three times as hard as layers, but if one-layer is simple for you, go for it. The moral of the story is - easy to mass produce. Perhaps, this is a good opportunity to knock out those Christmas or Hanukkah cards and get ahead of the game!
Don't forget to put the keyword WT507 when you post your card, so we can all get simple ideas in our Easy Does It Gallery.
Cathy, Sabrina, and I have a few samples to get your creative juices flowing. I can't wait to see what you create!

I had fun with my collection of red mcd's beverage cups, cut with an XL tag punch affixed with a red sparkly brad- background is created with red and white treat bags, embossed with Sizzix's Starbust pattern. Added some thin red ribbon, with a piece of sparkly ribbon threaded in the knot. As for the wooden spool ornaments- go to Paisley Parkes (You Tube) for large wooden spool ornaments- it's done with jewelry wire ( I substituted cotton yarn) and beads and wide ribbon- thread the beads and spool, glue the ribbon to the spool and you're done! Another easy peasy. Happy Thanksgiving to all my dear friends at SCS! Here's Snowman Cards & Spool Ornaments

One of my favourite quick cards is a die cut layered over a sparkly cs. Here's one that you could cut a whole bunch of, stamp the sentiments, and then sit and watch TV while sticking them together:

I am almost done for this year, but liked how this came out so much I am thinking I may do up stack of them in January as part of the monthly Christmas Card Challenge. Maybe if I get January's knocked out, I will do better at sticking to it throughout the year.
