hi Pam! welcome from the other side of our cold and snowy state! I live in Chardon, which is northeast of Cleveland - right in the heart of the snow belt!
You are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this site! Jump right in, join a swap, make new friends, even lose weight (if needed, for me, alas, yes I belong to that group, too!) with fellow stampers!
Jennifer
p.s. it is not the least bit unusual to find yourself visiting this site at least once an hour!
Thank you all for such a warm welcome. Jennifer, I am really looking forward to the warming trend we are suppose to get this weekend. Jami, I'm afraid the the accordian might be a little complex for me. I will use the directions and try to make one on my own. I'll try to get the hang of it and catch a swap another time. I just love to swap. I like the idea of making the 10 cards per month. I sent out 50 cards for Christmas and the last 6 or 7 were made on the spot as I got some from people not on my list. LOL. Joy and Sara, thank you for the welcome.
Pam
Welcome! I'm a Florida girl, but my family is from Ohio...Coshocton an hour outside Columbus. (One of those blink and you'll miss it little towns...) My dad graduated from Case Western in Cleveland, and my bestfriend's 2 little brothers were recently football stars (one was QB!) at Ohio State. So, I have Ohio in my blood...and will cheer for the Buckeyes before cheering for my Gators .
Glad you came out of "lurkdom." Your time at SCS will be even better now!
Thanks again ladies,
I did sign up for the "newbie swap" that was started. I am going to try out my new paper peircing punch with this swap. Melissa, is Vierra near Melbourne? My brother and his family live there. Be sure to wear that scarlet and gray tonight for the Alamo Bowl...Go Bucks !!This is such a friendly place.
Welcome Pam! As it has been said before this is the #1 stamping place on the web. I've been a member since 3/04, my downline turned me on to this site. I'm hooked, yes I visit every day now
Hi Pam, and welcome !! I'm from over in the Cleveland area. You will LOVE this site. My folks now live down in San Antonio - and they will be at the game this evening. My dad is a huge OSU fan. Go Buckeyes!!
Welcome Pam. You will find this site addicting. I'm watching so many topics right now that I barely have time to check out the new submissions. Which at this point is probably okay since I'm visiting in WV and don't have my supplies with me. Can't wait to get home to IL (don't tell my folks!) so I can begin the Christmas challenge and the technique swap I've joined. I fairly new to the site too and am enjoying the comrodery(SP?)( Wish this site had spell check!) of all the SCS members.Have family in the Columbus area but haven't heard from them in a while.
Take care!

Pam,
YES, Viera (not to be confused with Vero...which is about 45 min. south) is between Melbourne and Rockledge. It's the new town by I-95 where the baseball stadium is...and because it's unincorporated, my zipcode IS a Melbourne code.
Gooooo Buckeyes! (I gathered buckeyes when I was up there last year, so of course I had to make a bracelet out of them! Hmmm...wonder if I can stamp on one?)
Ok, now I know many of you used the term"addicting" when referring to this board. Can you define "addicting" as visiting the forum / gallery 3 to 4 times per day? I find myself doing just that. LOL Thank you again ladies for such warm welcomes.
P.S. Great game Wed. night!!

If it is just 3-4 times aday I would diagnose you as being mildly addicted...when it gets to EVERY TIME YOU WALK BY THE COMPUTER  (not that I do that ) Then you know you are truley and forever addicted! LOL
Welcome!!!
