We care a lot about our hair. We have good hair days and bad hair days. It's kind of a beauty stand-by. What do you do when that's gone? My hope is that you find a new way to feel beautiful. In honor of all the cancer fighters who have to deal with hair loss and find new ways to feel beautiful, we are going to make beautiful cards without using a stamping stand-by, stamps. You can use dies, stickers, paint, your handwriting, a postcard, anything and everything that isn't a stamp!
Challenge: Make a project without using any stamps. Have fun letting other techniques and tools shine! (You can stamp an inside sentiment if you'd like.)

Your challenge made me think, Paula. It's so easy to reach for a stamp...especially for a sentiment. I used my computer to generate mine. I also appreciate your posting early......Thanks!
Wow, Connie! You are fast! Can't wait to see them!
Sallie, thank Lydia! She makes all the magic happen!
Thanks Susie!
I have to make breakfast for my first grader and I will be back!

Thanks Paula! I loved your challenge. If I can squeeze more time out this month I hope to add a few more. I used your NO stamp challenge to play with dies!

This was fun! I have to say though that those stampers who use a lot of intricate dies..some of those pieces can be teeny tiny!! I almost lost the dot to my exclamation point!

I know! And how do they glue all those things?! Love your card!

Well I had a blast with this one! I sketched my poinsettias and then watercolored them. Here's my card

Paula- great challenge, thanks! I love sewing, so I made a card with embossing and sewing- my buddy Kathy provided the dc letters- and I added a sewn ribbon/lace border for an accent. Here's Joy

Great challenge, Paula! I am only working a half-day today so should have time to play later. In the meantime, I'll be thinking ...
Yay!

Regarding gluing all the tiny pieces parts of dies: I usually run the cardstock through my Xyron first, and then die cut it. I won't lie - it still can be tedious to put pieces back in place, but having them like stickers is less fiddly for me than trying to add a glue like Mono Multi to them.
Paula, thanks for making us have to think outside the usual box for this one!
Oh Janeen, I don't do it all! Not by a long shot! But crafting makes me a nicer, happier mom and Hope You Can Cling To is so special to me. Getting to hostess is an honor for me! I'm so happy so many of my friends are playing along this year!
