***********CHALLENGE DESCRIPTION*********** I happened upon this little chickie and I thought she looked like she could use a friend. She reminded me of sitting in a doctor�s exam room wearing a paper gown. She actually just had her 5 year post-op mammogram and is awaiting the results. (Chickens have breasts, right?)
How much easier is it to go through life with a friend you can count on to be there through the good, the bad and the scary? We need a network of friends to share our joys and divide our sorrows.
Make a card celebrating your sister peeps, friends or friendship. You can use images of friends, friendship sentiments or chickens.
When my friend Suz lived in Russia, chicken breasts were rarer than hen's teeth. She was at the market and when her turn came up at the counter she saw chicken breasts. She could not remember the words for chicken breasts so she flapped her arms and pointed to her breasts. The woman behind the counter laughed, but she got the order correct! I am so lucky to have such a friend. She surely has been there for me through the good, the bad and the scary times. Lets celebrate our sister peeps with this challenge.

UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. All Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Entries must be uploaded to the Hope You Can Cling To Gallery, with the specific challenge keyword, no later than November 7th at 12:00 Noon Central Time to be eligible for our fabulous prizes! Post a link to your entry in this thread.
2. You may not combine challenges, but you are welcome to create multiple cards for each challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
4. Please package all challenge entries with an envelope, protected with a clear plastic bag and mail them to our partner at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center to benefit patients being treated for breast cancer and their family. We would like for them to receive cards throughout the month of October, but we understand if you'd like to mail all your cards at once.
5. Since these cards will be used by visitors for patients, most should be blank inside, but feel free to send cards with messages of hope for the patients in addition to your challenge cards!

Have to work this morning but hunted the house and found a couple of possibilities for this challenge (a stamp with a chick on it and a felt chick). I know I don't have any "girlfriend" stamps but will come up with something tonight or tomorrow.
I have this saying posted on my wall in my craft room with some pics of my best friends and it says "A friend is the Lord's way of taking really good care of you" So true.

I woke up from a long nap to check on the gallery
I am so sleep deprived because of the construction on the house which begins in the early a.m.
I am in awe at the talent in this group. There is such a wide range of interpretations in the gallery and they are all fabulous. I especially like when a cardmaker introduces me to a stamp company I've never seen. Thank you.
