TLC502 ~ Embossing on Vellum Revisited ~ (10/06/14)
Hello everyone!!! I hope you are all enjoying the cooler days we are having. Fall is here and we are on the count down to Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.....makes me a little nervous how the days are flying by!! All the more reason to stamp, stamp, and stamp...LOL!!! Anyway....
It's my turn to host this weeks challenge and I am going to revisit an old challenge....can you believe we are up to #502!!!! I am going to revisit challenge #271 to emboss on vellum. I love the look of white embossing on vellum but you can use any color embossing powder you like.
Soooo... you say you don't have vellum. Well, have no fear....try embossing on waxed paper, parchment paper, tissue paper, or even acetate....what ever you have on hand. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!
I had some doubts about this -- but I used a Sweet n Sassy stamp and heat embossed mustard on brown vellum, the die cut it in maple leaf. Added the fabric leaves and jute - and ta da...

Fun challenge! You must have been reading my mind, Joan. Just made a card that was embossed on vellum...but it's for a post later in the week. So I made another & combined it w/ the CAS to add a touch of pink. Here's my Wisemen Ornament. Thanks so much for looking!
