SO CUTE!!! I just ordered some :-) I might do Halloween though for my coworkers and put candy in them.

They are 4 oz paper coffee cup with lids. I bought mine at websturant.com

Paper Hot Cups | Hot Paper Cups - WebstaurantStore

I've filled them with mini kit kats bars. It's surprising just how much they can hold. I have a problem with the lids not staying on. I don't know if it's the brand I bought but the next time I make them I think I'll have to think of a way to keep the lids on. But they are super cute.

Oh, they ARE cute! Got my wheels spinning a bit... I'm just thinking that that smooth and heavy paper surface could take some paint or gel printing pretty well. Hmmm.....

Keep the ideas rolling!

Do they still make those Nips candies? I used to love the coffee ones...

Yes as least at a large national drugstore chain. I think I've also seen them at grocery stores but usually avoid the candy aisle.

I'm also considering these cups for coworker treats. I only saw the dome-style lids but am thinking a wood stir stick labeled with the recipient's name could go inside the part where you sip.

Would love to see what others come up with, as well as hints and tips from those that have used them.

TIA and ...

Happy Crafting!

Thanks, Tina.

Deb, I've only seen them at one local scrapbook store...unfortunately, they recently closed as did so many in my area over the years. You could check with your LSSs. I have not seen them for sale at the bigger stores like M's and J's. Online may be your best option. Dunno.

Do you have a local restaurant supply store? I'd think they would have them in bulk. Even some office supply stores carry coffee cart supplies.

Sadly, all of them in my area have closed... I either have to go to the chains (Michael's, JoAnn's, etc.) or shop online (which I apparently am getting quite good at)

Here's a Pinterest link for lots of cute ideas for these mini cups: Pinterest

A little hint - I covered some with DSP and to make a template I took one of the cups apart, cut off the lip. So simple and easy.

I haven't tried paints or sprays because the candy I was using was unwrapped so I was being cautious about harmful effects. I'm going to try it using wrapped and candy so there won't be an issue. I don't have any info regarding harmful effects - just me being careful.

When I went on the hunt for the cups locally I only found them in amounts that were way to many for my needs so I ended up buying online.

If you ask for cream or milk on the side for coffee or tea at McDs you will get one of these cute little cups!

I am thinking about buying some of these cups, decorating with pumpkins or ghosts, filling with candy and giving out an our churches annual Trunk or Treat event.

I found simular cups with lids on Amazon. They were larger but would work and the shipping was a lot cheaper. There were also icecream cups with lids that would be very cute too.
This the search I used (25 ct White Paper Ice Cream Pint Containers (16oz) - For Hot And Cold Food Items)

This is my prototype for Halloween

I used a circle punch and the bird punch for the ears and feet. I used alcohol ink to cover the lid but I think spray paint would be better so long as I put the treats in a baggie. I think I can work to make it cuter with a different background paper instead of black but thought I'd share now. :p

I have already purchased Hershey's goodies (Hugs & Kisses!) for mine.

These are so stinkin' easy to make. Now the hardest part will be watching others enjoy the goodies!!!
