SU Firm Foam Ink Pads

I love the new pads but they seem to be a lot harder to open. Has anyone else had this problem or is it the "user" ?

Recently went to a SU stamp class and couldn't open any of the ink pads. I thought it was just me!! Hoping that once I get the hang of it, they will be easier!!

Like you I do think they are harder to open. I remember when I first got the Gumball Green one it would not open at all. My engineer hubby had to work on it to make it open. Now it opens fine. Also I have noticed the newer ones are messier and leak sometimes.

I felt the same way when I 1st started using them. Now they don't seem to be a problem to open, I think it just takes getting used to them.
