Default New poster - LONG time "lurker"

Hi everyone! I have been viewing the galleries for years and have read posts but never actually posted - not really sure why.

I'm Heather, live in a suburb of the Twin Cities in the wonderful state of Minnesota. Born and raised here, with a 16 year stop in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area in between.

I started as a stamper (thanks to my best friend) but am now also a scrapbooker. I have always taken TONS of pictures wherever I go so it seemed like the natural progression.

I worked for Archiver's for 4.5 years up until we went out of business earlier this year (such a sad day) and am still looking for a new job. Before that I worked for Bath & Body Works - so two very expensive jobs to have - but so much fun!

Hmmmm...what else....I LOVE wolves - I have been a Pup Nanny twice for the International Wolf Center in Ely, MN. I also love fall foliage pictures and waterfalls - oh and ice - I guess water in all forms - makes some pretty cool pictures!

That's me in a nutshell. See you around!

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! How neat you have been a Pup Nanny! We don't have wolves in NZ but it is good to know they are being looked after elsewhere.

Hi Heather!!

OMG I'm so jealous of your pup nanny gig! How FUN!!!

I can't wait to see your scrapbooking! I am sad about Archivers as well - I loved meeting up with my buddies there to stamp and SPEND Good luck in your job search. My sister got married in St. Paul - beautiful place.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything on the site.

Welcome Heather.

How sad I was to see Archivers Brick and Mortar stores closed. It's nice that the online store is still open, but I don't care for the online store as much as I did the walk in. There were 3 in the Denver area and 1 in Colorado Springs. I had just gotten back into paper crafting and had just found Archivers. I was definitely sad when they closed.

Wolves. My best friend's son is staying at a wolf place called "Mission Wolf" He lives with them and feeds them. It has changed him profoundly.

I'm glad you stepped off the lurking bench to say hello. Welcome!

I too am much more of a lurker than a poster. I just seem to not have anything important enough to post. Glad to meet you.
