Hi all,
3:45 a.m. here and I'm at our daughter's with grandchildren while DH is at ER with DD - Been here since 9:15 last night when we got call from DD who was having an apparent gall bladder attack. Laying here in bed with both sleeping grandchildren plus their dog - obviously I am NOT sleeping but laying here waiting for update from DH. Hope to check gallery later, and asking for good thoughts coming our way!

Score One for the Beach
Great challenge. The beach is an important part of the economy here on Cape Cod. We are surrounded by ocean on 3 sides and a canal on the fourth. The miles of beaches are a great tourist attraction and provide a lot of jobs for our area. The population swells more than 2.5 times in the summer. It's good to be a native and know the back roads and shortcuts this time of year. Here is my Score One for the Beach__________________ Priscilla (aka - PJ)

I did a quick watercolor to capture a vivid memory from my recent trip to Normandy. This was not of beach of children splashing in the surf.

Oh gosh, just seeing this. I am hoping that your DD is more stable now. Things really settle down once you get a diagnosis and some pain control. The surgery is through the scope now, so even if she needs to move forward with that it is not as bad as it once was. Sending prayers and good thoughts your way. __________________

Dancing with delight at today's challenge - A Day at the Beach. I needed to make a bon vogage card for a DF who is headed to Maui this week. Thanks for kickstarting me with this challenge to get this card made!

I don't think I have ever done the CAS challenge before. So not sure if this is CAS. I didn't put any embelishments on it, but I did do some scoring on it. But I think the image and sentiment is still the focal point.
