How about an excuse to play with fashionable color palettes, or an excuse to look at beautiful photography, or an excuse to make some masculine cards (I bet you don't make a lot of those), and even better, how about an excuse to stare at men all week!? Our inspiration challenge this week does all of that and more! You're gonna love the variety of photos you'll find on the TSB Men Fashion Blog Site. After finding myself exceedingly "inspired", my suggestion to you would be to take note of the colors, styles, and textures in the gorgeous photography, and remember to look behind the guys - as the backgrounds can also be very inspirational!
A quick tip on getting the URL for your descriptions: Just right click on the photo that inspired you (control+click from a mac), and then select "Copy Image Address" from the commands. That will give you a link that goes directly to the picture (see screenshot in the last image attached below)!
Challenge Goals:
Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the TSB Men Fashion Blog Site.
Use the keyword: IC447 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites...so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo, or photos, served as your inspiration piece in your description please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

IC447 Tooled Up
One from me that took a lot longer than I really had time for, sigh...
But it's going out in the mail next week to a guy who is certainly handy round the house.

I'm going to stretch the rules a bit, cuz I made this card a day or two ago, but was just uploading today. It's layout reminds me of the bars in the first picture!!!
Audrie- awesome site! I was inspired by 1. Mark in the Street Style- Nashville Edition with his denim pants with suspenders, and leather accessories. I used SU's On The Farm for my card, sponging in some yellow for a sun, and to highlight my sentiment- and added a red/baker's twine tie for an accent. Reminds me of my dear Father In Law in Nevada. Here's Country Happy Birthday

I had a little more trouble finding inspiration on this site than I usually do. I did find some really pretty pastel jackets (love pastels on men - my DH refuses to wear them). Y'day I rec'vd some die cuts from Peggy (jasonw1) and I couldn't wait to start using them, so here is my Happy Day

I was inspired again- this time by the TSB Street Style 1920's- pants style for 2014 image with its blues, reds, tans and green in the background. I used SU's Be Happy for my image, from my stamping friends, and added a blue batik tie, along with 2 gingham ties. Finished with a partial clock image from Graphic 45. Here's Enjoy Your Day
