Good morning everyone!!! I'm sorry about the late challenge...not sure what happened but I will fill in today. How about a simple and fun challenge that we haven't done for quite a while...let's do a little paper piecing!!!! I love to paper piece...I hope you do to!!!!

Joan- awesome challenge, thanks! I always forget about paper piecing and how much fun it is. I used SU's Sew Suite and Button, Button for my images- and added a magenta button and brown beads. Here's Button Card

I don't know that I've done paper piecing before - it kind of reminded me of quilting - finding patterns that I liked together. Does it count as paper piecing if you use an e cutter to make it so easy? I hope so because it sure was fun.

but I have an excuse! I made this Birthday card for my DD when the challenge was posted but couldn't upload it here because my DD's 11th birthday isn't until July and it would have spoiled the surprise - and then life got in the way (I was sick etc. etc.) so I am only just getting around to posting it here. I hope that's OK?

I REALLY enjoyed the challenge as I never think to do paper-piecing so it was a great reminder.

I made another paper-pieced card which saved my image from being thrown in the bin due to the colouring that I had done on my flowers being not very good. I keep forgetting about this technique so it was good to remind myself to do it more often.
