I had a few people PM me and tell me that product is what inspires them most....so I found a site FULL of products of all kinds. As I browsed the pictures I saw everything from wall art to bed linens, to beautiful plants and a wonderful array of textures. This week's inspiration site is Bassett Furniture. Our Guest Hostess is the very talented tessaduck, aka Brenda. Brenda has been inspiring everyone at Splitcoaststampers for the past 4 years all the way from beautiful Oregon! Huge thanks to Brenda for kicking off our challenge this week with her beautiful card, even while juggling tonights' Virtual Stamp Night! WOW! Talk about a powerful lady - thanks Brenda!
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image reminds you of it. :cool: Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Bassett Furniture.
Use the keyword: IC444 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites...so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo, or photos, served as your inspiration piece in your description please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). I am not sure if the link is working yet but with the style of the central park pictures Here is my Fathers day card with a old prairie church picture where I think dad grew up near, adn went to...:0)

Audrie- wonderful site for inspiration, thanks! I was influenced by Rooms We Love with its brown, pink, grey, green colors- I used SU's Summer By The Sea for my sentiment, and Polka Dot Punches for my heart image- with a dc heart background. Did this grey/green fern frond image, thanks to Flourishes- and finished with a ribbons/buttons embellie combo. Here's Happiness Hearts

Well, I didn't even notice the thumbnails in the challenge until just now. Thought it funny that I had chosen out of all the inspiration on this site the same as one of the thumbnails.

I used the Brewster Sectionals room photo for my inspiration - loved the vase of golden flowers and all the browns.
Bonus that the popped up flowers meant I could double-up with a VSN challenge - I didn't think that was going to happen.
And I was able to combine another VSN with this week's MIX challenge and one of the pieces of wall art I really liked yesterday . JUN14VSNH Sea and Sand
