What is a Scraplift? A scraplift is when you find a page or pages in that person's gallery that inspire you. You could choose to use the same colors, same layout, same embellishments ... It does not have to be exact but it should be easy to see what was similar.
Clarification of "How To Participate."
#1. Sign up for this challenge.
#2. See who is in the sign up list ahead of you.
#3. Go to that person's gallery and choose a LAYOUT to lift.
#4. Post your layout along with the original. Please make sure you use KEYWORD: SPLT14jun

I thought we'd try something different for the first person who post so it's not a "penalty" to have to wait 2 weeks to scraplift if you are first to post. Please everyone let me know if you think this is a better idea or you have another idea for the first person on the list :o
Thanks!

I am good with that. Does that mean someone gets lifted twice? And what happens to last person?
or does everyone just pick someone on the list? I just love the scraplift challenge!

Good questions. Yes ... it would mean that someone would get lifted twice and there is a chance the last person won't have a scraplift ...hmmm ... but, well maybe that's why you don't want to be last, Hahaha. Maybe we could try it this month and see if we want to change
I just thought it's not fun to be first if you had to wait 2 weeks to do a page ...
Also, I'll scraplift you

Great idea Lela! Maybe the first AND last person can choose whoever they want...that way they can both take advantage of their positions on the list!! Just a thought...

Personally, I don't "sign up" to GET lifted, but to be challenged to lift someone else.
I've never been first to sign up, but I can't imagine the long wait that would be waiting for me! So, I think your idea is a good one, Lela.
Have you ever allowed participants to sign up more than once in the same month? Doubt you'd have many takers since there have been some months we don't get our pages done anyway. There are plenty of challenges around, so I think that wouldn't be necessary, in fact, the new challenges should stir up some scraping excitement. Loving the new ideas.

Thanks Joyce Ann! I don't think I would want to wait either as I'm always excited for new months challenges, so I hope this works better. Sometimes too scrap time is limited so I didn't want anyone to miss out playing along because of the process

Okay, I stopped signing up for this challenge because I wasn't really good at doing my scraplifts, but I have an idea for the first person signing up. Lela, what if you picked a person's gallery for the first person to scraplift? Whoever signs up first would pick a layout, scraplift it, and post in the comments under the original layout that she had scraplifted her for the challenge. It might help boost the challenge participation!

Another good idea! Maybe we could mix it up?

I'm going to try to do the scraplift this month! Things may get a little crazy at my house the rest of this month, but hopefully I can squeeze it in. I'll scraplift Jeanne Ann.
Here is mine: Aprons
I scraplifted or was inspired by Joyce Ann. I wanted originally to do those ones she does with the templates. Love, love them. But don't have whatever tool it is. It is on my wishlist! LOL
Finally...my page! I so enjoyed looking through JoyceAnns gallery. She has so many wonderful pages of her litttle angel. It was hard to chose just one!
