I am so excited to kick off a themed Inspiration Challenge this week...our theme beingBaby Room Decor. Who doesn't love to decorate a babies room!? Even if not, I'm sure there is a baby shower, newborn, or other baby event in your near future, so feel free to use this as an excuse to make a few cards for that too (LOL). For our inspiration site, I've selected the Baby Room Decor board by Jennifer Maida. I was so inspired that I decided to create a mini-album. I'm thinking it might encourage some of you to do a 3D item as well! By the way, please feel free to be inspired to create something that has nothing to do with babies at all because maybe you were inspired by the colors, or the spirit, or even the style of the images on the board as you browse them!
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Baby Room Decor by Jennifer Maida board. For some, it can be challenging to get the URL for Pinterest images, so if you're not sure how to get the URL for your link, here is a helpful video:
Use the keyword: IC443 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites � so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

What a sweet site for inspiration, Audrie! You'd think with over 23 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and a 23 year old great, great nephew, someone would be having a baby - none! So this card is for my sister, Janet: Simple Scene

I was inspired by the blue, green and orange colors in the baby room decor and used The Alley Way's Sea Mates for my apology card. Added some buttons for fun, and re-purposed a striped green hospital band. Here's Contrite Crab

What fun to browse Jennifer's Baby Room Decor board; so many fun choices! This was an all day project, interrupted by a trip to the ER (for the second time this week, sigh)! Everyone is ok! I did lose my focus and momentum when I finally got back to my project, but it was fun creating this little story card.
