I stumbled onto a stamp line made by Riley and Co. today. The stamps were quite funny and some, quite snarky. For example, "I wonder if the clouds ever look down and thinks, 'that shape looks like an idio'." They made me chuckle, but I can't imagine who I'd send such messages to. Do any of you use such stamps and when? Thanks.

I'd send them any time I wanted to make someone have a chuckle. One year I made my sister a birthday card with one of the kid quotes by inkadinkado that said "I wish our family would stop trying to pretend they're normal."
Snarky sounds like something to send to my brothers who are older than I am and who like to tease. Some friends would appreciate snarky also. Sometimes we have twisted humor card swaps at our gatherings so snarky works for that or for ATC swaps when you fell the need to make something funky.
I have some of those Riley and Co stamps. I made up a set of cards with snarky sayings for a coworkers birthday. She loved them. I suppose they aren't for everyone, but most people have at least one person in their lives who would get a chuckle from some of those sayings. I laughed out loud when I read the one about licking the frosting off the cupcake. Hilarious!
I love funny, snarky humor. Always looking for sayings that will give a laugh- my friends and family all know me and know I love a good chuckle so they enjoy the cards as much as I do making them.
I have a ton of those stamps, and absolutely love them! My only complaint is some of them that I really would have liked to get have typos or mistakes in them, and I won't buy a stamp if words are misspelled or if they have grammatical errors.
I like snarky too and would use them for cards for friends. I plan to get some and hadn't heard about Riley and Company and will check them out. There's another one called Rubbernecker and this stamp caught my eye immediately: I vow to drink more wine so I can do something crafty with the corks.
I have a couple people that I send cards with those types of saying on. These are people who I'm close to and they get that kind of sense of humour. I usually just send them out of the blue and just write a little note about what's going on in my day.
I spent a hour last night reading the snarky sentiments from Rubberneckker and now have a long wish list at another company; thanks for the suggestions...now on to check out Riley & Co!!
Unity stamp company just came out with some stamps with profanity, and I love them, LOL! I HAD to order them! One says "You are fu****g awesome!" The other says, "You're the sh*t!" The whole words are spelled out on the stamps. I was so excited to see these, LOL! I actually have coworkers I can give these to, even my DH would get a kick out of it! They are on sale for 50% off the rest of this day also!
Checked out Riley & Co and laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes - and another long wishlist. Some of these are perfect for DH, DD and friends. Thanks to all who mentioned these companies; love to find new places to me! - not that I need any more stamps.
If you like snark, check out these: Fractured Funnies Actually, you can find snark in lots of the categories, including funny sayings & signatures. Many of the digi images come with coordinating snarky sentiments too. Enjoy!
Yes, I use those stamps. They are fun inside the card, perhaps inside the cover even if the theme doesn't match. Who among us doesn't enjoy a laugh. I have one for Christmas that I often use inside the cover that says "did anyone on earth EVER buy themselves a fruitcake."
