Can you believe this is our 6th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2013 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2014! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2014! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2014 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc14apr"

Challenge 2014
This is where we'll have links to the Weekly Challenges! These are GREAT for Inspiration, we have Terrific Hostess and let's try to support them as much as possible!
March at my house was INSANE, but I think I'm ready to get back to scrappin'! I'm going to set my April goal at 10 and then hope to blow right past it and make lots of pages this month
Did not hit my goal :(. Scrapping is getting harder to do right now we are in Graduation Countdown (5/21) and so many activities. I'm still going to shoot for 4 but know I'll do some serious scrapping again in June :-).
Not getting many pages done this year since I've been catching up on other projects that have been put aside for far too long. I have been doing some card making with my 94-yr-old mom (who has been enjoying it very much!), so I'm still crafting. Hopefully, I'll still find a way to get a page a week done, plus I still need to get my scraplift from Valerie's gallery done from March, so make that 5 pages for me for April please, Lela!
I'm setting my April goal for 12 again, and hope to reach it this time around, haha. March was really busy, and I ended it with a good, solid cold that wiped me out for a whole week. I still managed to get 8 pages done, and the last one is linked up here: Mothers Day 2013

What's so fun about our Scrap Challenge thread is that we just keep scrappin' together even when life gets crazy ... we're always here for each other and getting pages done no matter how many .. a few or a lot.
It's all good!

March was an interesting month for me. I only scrapped 6 paper layouts, but I dove into the world of digital scrapping and used CTMH's Studio J to create 12 layouts! They are printed and on their way to my house. Can't wait to see how they turn out. I think I'm a little hooked, and I know I'll be doing some more digi-layouts this month, so I'm going to put my goal at 20. Just what I needed, another addiction! Here's my first paper layout for April.

I met my goal for March, I just didn't post them all to my gallery, because some of them were double pages for two different albums. That puts my YTD total at 35. My April goal is going to be 10 again. I have another busy month ahead of me...
seems so strange to wake up to a totally empty nest this morning... :(
There are 30 days in April, so that will be my goal-my updated number of pages done is in my signature-
Originally, I had hoped to finish 2012 in Feb, I think-but I worked hard on it in March and I think I am still about 15-20 pages away from finishing 2012 and then I will go back to 2011-
I am going to scrap the contents of my hard drive this year!!!!
Looks like a lot of pages have been posted, I will be back later to spend some time in the gallery!

Hi...My income taxes are finally all finished up for 2013. DH hired a new General Manager for our shop that should free him up somewhat when the guy starts full time the middle of April. However, even though DGS bowling season is over, we enrolled him in karate and he starts baseball this week so I'm not sure how much spare time I will have the next few weeks.
I signed up for a "paper" scrapbooking class at Big Picture so I'm going to set my April goal for 5...might be more if I get all 12 challenges done during this class though. I think it'll help me do some of the challenges here as well as it's a "Stashbuster's Anonymous" class
I know with the warmer weather I will be outside much more and DH and I joined a gym last month and have been attempting to make it 5 days a week. So far we are managing 4 days but I know that I am feeling better by going.
I have managed to get about 4-5 pages a month done so far. The Stashbuster's Challenges and Scraplift Challenge (the only 2 page related challenges I have tried so far) have been a good way for me to get pages going again. I think I will stick with that goal for now.
Where is everyone? LOL I just discovered I was making pages for 2007 that were actually 2008! So, I have been correcting the dates on my pages! Now, to go through and try to put my photos in order!!! A huge project! I guess this is what happens when you just pull photos out and scrap out of order. I have parts of 07, 08, 09, scrapped, and that is the problem. Maybe I should go back to scrapping in order. Trouble is, I get stuck. I have the 70s through the 90s to catch up on! Oh, and then add all the photos of my Mom's! DH's folks' photos! Someone come organize me!!! Please!
I'm like you, Sharon. I have so many photos I could scrap, but I have to feel the "urge" to scrap the photos. I'm not good at saying, "I need to get these done in order, just do it! so I just plug along! I've misdated photos too on occasion and it's a pain! lol
I always have new photos of DGDs and now my great niece, all my own current pics and from my young years, photos of my mom and 5 siblings and all the photos my dad and stepmom had when they were alive. Our has always been a picture taking bunch and it's a bit (okay, a LOT) overwhelming!!
I've been on a bit of a hiatus, too, since I've got a group of friends who've recently taken up card making and I have been informally pegged as the "guru" of such things. It's been fun to get some cards made and playing with all the tools and stamps, but sure has put my scrapping on the back burner for now!
I've got the same stuff goin' over here Sharon and Wendy! I have open spots in my albums for picts I have scrapped yet ... LOL
I get lots more pages done now that I go with scrapping picts I'm inspired by versus just picts in order of what's next. I've been a little better lately going back and filling in the events if I'm missing some pages. It's all good.
Hello from Kentucky! Hope April is going well so far for all of you ...

Hi all......haven't gotten much scrapping done lately. We are dealing with a major life happening right now (since March the 5th). We are in prayer that all is going to work out just as the Lord wants.
I hope to get a few pages done this month. I need to keep busy, to keep my mind on positive thoughts. I am going to shoot for 6 pages this month.
Where is everyone? LOL I just discovered I was making pages for 2007 that were actually 2008! So, I have been correcting the dates on my pages! Now, to go through and try to put my photos in order!!! I made a Word doc listing all of my photos in order for the last 10 years or so (i.e. my birthday, trip to wherever, etc., with the dates listed next to them) and then when I finish scrapping each event, I change the color of that line to green on my list. When I was making up the list, I also included everything that I had already scrapped so I'd know what order things should go in as I finished things. Then, since I'm extra crazy, I wrote down all the events on little slips of paper so when I don't know what to work on next, I'll draw maybe 5 paper slips and choose one of those batches of photos to work on. That helped me out a LOT because apparently I waste a lot of time with indecision just trying to choose what to work on next For now, I've been just putting completed layouts in 12x12 plastic holders (labeled by year) and plan to work on getting them in albums once I move back to the States and can go to Michael's and Joann's whenever I want.
I also went through all our photos on the computer and put the dates on the folder names next to whatever event it was, and then put the folders in numerical order. It took me weeks to get it all organized, but it was SO worth it. And now whenever we download more pics from our camera onto the computer, I just label the files with event name, date, and numerical order as I go--each year gets its own folder. And because we move around about every three years, I group a couple of years under wherever we were living at the time because it's a lot easier to think "oh yeah, we did that while we were in Japan" than it is to think "maybe that was 2009?" But that nomadic thing probably doesn't apply to most of you ladies, just us!
It took me a while to get organized with my actual pictures too. I got about a zillion clear envelopes from SU and some 3x5 index cards. On each card, I wrote the name of the event, the date, and then on the bottom whatever keyword it was that I used when I uploaded pictures for printing. Made it MUCH easier sorting pictures when I did a giant order last year, and I can also write on the index card if I have any memorabilia or anything I want to include on the layout when I get around to doing that.
Wow Christy, so organized! I have a lot of my photos digitally and those are in folders with dates and for the past few years in month folders- but my older photos are still in a container. I did get them in year order, and started to scan them and scrap them years ago, but didn't finish.
I hope to finish up the past few years this year. I have finished 2013, I am only about 10 pages from having 2012 done, it is getting a bit harder, I am almost to the point that I need to scrap the last few pics of my dad in the hospital before he passed away. I need to get those done and will set aside a time soon, to be sad and get them done- I have a lot to say on those pages and so...
I have also been doing a few 2014 pages in between!
So by the end of next week I will be done with 2012 and move back to 2011. The good thing about 2011, I did a 365 album so I can look at it and the pics I didn't scrap and put pages together for events that are in need of a whole page or many!
Then back to all of our Las Vegas and Nevada adventures 2002-2010.
I will most likely take a break where ever I am by June and scrap our summer as it happens!

Hello Ladies!
I'm back from NYC! My DH & I had a really nice (grown up) vacation! Took in Motown, the Musical, the NY Symphony, some sight seeing (actually did a lot for only having 2 1/2 days)! Even got to see a taping of the David Letterman Late Show! If you watch it, we were in the audience when Kristin Chenowith was on (Tuesday).
Been reading a bit through the forum...sounds like everyone's been busy! I'm not sure how much I'll get to scrap this month...heading downstate next weekend to spend Easter with our daughter at MSU! And I have to go on a car search...need to get a vehicle before she comes home (the first weekend in May...wow already done with her first year at college!!!). So, I'm going to say 6 pages for this month's goal . That should enable me able to play along with a couple of challenges!
;)

Not sure how much I'll get done this month but hoping to find the time to scrap!!
