I am so excited to announce that Susan Raihala from the Simplicity BlogSpot has returned to inspire us again. Susan's gallery is an exceptional collection of CAS designs reflecting her passion for what is simple yet beautiful and fun! This time she has also selected an awesome inspiration site for us called "Packaging of the World ". There are so many cool items on this site that I can't wait till I can do a deep dive with you, and create a few treat bags in honor of the site theme (aka packaging). She was so inspired that she was able to kick us off with three (3) different card designs right off the bat!
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Packaging of the World website. Use the keyword: IC432 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites...so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

I haven't had much of a chance to play this week, but I found some time this morning to do the Inspiration Challenge, my favorite challenge of the week, making a relatively CAS card. Here it is:

Reason: fix link
Audrie- thanks for bringing us this cool site- I was inspired by the Bialetti Dolce Chef packaging with its tans, rosy pinks, and oranges specifically- and used this cute Penny Black sticker and some SU patterned dp from my stamping buddies. Not sure of the name of this stamp set my sentiment comes from, but it's one handy stamp Here's Flowery Happy Birthday

Wow, Audrie! Thx for taking us to the Packaging of the World webstore today. I could only make it partially through two categories. There were a ba-zillion things to see! Here is my card.
I was inspired by the Vegetal Gourmand packaging with its green and purple colors and vegetable theme. I used PTI's Green Thumb for my images, and Memory Boxes' Sweet Pea for my die cut. Only embellishment was a threaded green ribbon Here's Sweet Pea
