A few years ago as I noticed some people using a plain ol' regular staple as an "embellishment" on their cards I thought, "Well, that's UGLY!! It just looks DUMB!" Yeah-yeah-yeah ... I have learned to EAT those words!!
So ... VERY easy challenge ... use a "plain ol' regular staple" somewhere on your creation ... it's kinda fun!!
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

I will be traveling today so will be unable to be creative with staples - which I have NEVER used on a card! I will be home next week and will challenge myself to use a staple or two.

Wendy- awesome challenge. Went with the edginess of this card, done with the chalkboard technique. Added some hand stitching, and glitter. Here's Say What?

Thank you! I found this counted cross stitch and did not know how I would attach to a card and you gave me the answer! Here is my card for this challenge and others. Thanks again for all you do for us.
Wendy- think the staples are good for emphasizing card sentiments, too! I used PS's Squeaky Clean set for my big eyed broom, and put a big yellow bow. Added a sticker style owl to keep him company. Here's Swept

I saw this challenge to use staples on a card early this morning and pretty much decided I wouldn't play, mainly because I NEVER use staples on card! Well, I changed my mind after being inspired by my friend's bicycle at the gym....she had parked it inside the gym, so it wouldn't get stolen and it had the cutest wicker basket on the front. Anyhow, I came home and whipped this card together in no time. Here it is:
