Scrappin' Challenge 2014

Can you believe this is our 6th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2013 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2014! Let's keep scrappin'.

It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2014! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...

What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.

*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.

You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!

The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.

It's hard to believe it's March 1st already! Looks like it's coming in like a lamb in my part of PA. It's suppose to be a sunny calm (cold) day but look out tomorrow & Monday more SNOW.

I've updated by siggy...6 pages in Feb which brings my YTD to 18. I'll stay with my goal of 4.

March??? Where did February go!!?? ;)
My daughter came home from MSU last night just in time to catch her sister drama production! She's home for Spring Break, so we have her for a week!

The play was really cute, the cast did a great opening performance!
I'm going to take it down a notch this month, with all the appointments and travel time...I'm going to shoot for 6 pages. I hope to do more but I fear time will get the best of my days! I really want to get some cards in too (I've made a few but haven't posted them yet) but I'm focusing on scrapbooking so they've taken a back burner.

Wow, you're quick at getting this posted!!

I barely made my goal last month and March is going to be busy. My 93 yo grandma is coming to visit (can't wait!) and we're getting our house ready to put on the market (ugh). So, I better set my goal at only 5 pages this month.

Last month thanks to a great VSBN I went over my goal! The end of this month I am going to a 3 day scrapping and stamping get away so I am going to raise my goal to 15 this month and hopefully I will do more scrapping and less talking at my getaway!

AHHHHH HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!! ! ( I mean MARCH !)

I can't believe that it is a new month already and even though I don't drink, I am always up for a good party... :mrgreen:

So with that being said and lots of things going on in my life during this month, (like grandbaby, weddings and birthdays) I think I better not over think my goal and stay with 10

I too can't believe it's March already either ... last night it dawned on me and I had to check the calendar and wow, it's here.

February was good for scrappin' w/ VSBN but I've got some travel this month so I'm hoping to get 10 pages done

I have a scrap retreat in 5 days! Yippeeeee! So I plan on getting A LOT of pages done this month!

I have 56 pages done toward my l yearly goal. I'm still keeping my monthly at 16 knowing that I am ahead of the curve. I also know there are going to be months that I won't get much done. I have not posted many of my pages from February on this site, I'll see if I can do better this month.

Sadly I won't be able to do much scrapping in March until the last week of the month--I'm planning a giant tea party for the 20th at my house, and then I have to retake my exam to finish my master's degree on the 24th. So I'll say my goal for this month is 4, but maybe by then I'll be all super-inspired to crank out lots of pages that last week! In the meantime, cheers ladies and I'll see you in three weeks.

I updated my siggy . I got 15 pages done on Feb, mostly due to VSBN! I did not upload them all of them, but got them done. I will set my goal of five this month!

I was able to complete 10 pages last month but I doubt if I will reach that this month -- crazy month! My totals are in my siggy.

Gosh, March is here. I completed 9 pages last month and have 14 for the year! That is more than I did last year!!! I went to Disneyland last week and then lost this past week to catching up on being away. I haven't made any pages for awhile. But I completed some cards, but I dropped my camera at Disneyland, so I had to buy another. I will have to wait until it arrives before I can take pictures. I need to do my scraplift for Feb and I had wanted to do the Progressive challenge, but have not! Lots to do! I'm going to go scrap so when my camera comes I will be ready to take pictures!

I met my goal and then some for Feb-47 pages.

My goal for March is 31.

I am slowing down a bit-my elbow started to ache from the mouse, and I am trying to get a little exercise a few days a week, so that cuts into my scrappin' time!

I signed up 1st so I should be ready to scrap by the 15th when sign up closes.

We moved my SIL Saturday but now we're in the process of liquidating a lot of her things. It's such a hard thing to down size but it has to be done. So far she's glad she made the move but we still have alot to do at her new place too.

Today our house is having a snow day due to the ice/snow storm we got last night, and I may get lucky and get a page done.
I still have the 4th stashbuster page to get to, and I have managed to almost meet my goal for the year. I played it safe!

What is really fun is all the scrapping we have got done so far! I think many of us are ahead of goals we planned? Hopefully, it is from all the inspiration and not just the weather but snow days definitely helped me as well I think, LOL. I am looking forward to maybe getting a couple pages done tonight.

Well, I will scrap when I can. I am involved in VSN this week-end and my Mom is not doing well. She was diagnosed with ALS in June, and has gone down hill since. I took care of her as long as I could, and at Christmas time we moved her to a home plus. She has been on Hospice for some time now. She has gotten weaker and weaker. So just an FYI and request again for prayers. Thank you.

My YTD is 13 layout, not quite what I was hoping for but not bad considering how busy I've been! My goal for this month is 10 layouts, and I've already got one done that finishes up my scrapbooking for my family's 2010 trip to Orlando, so yay!

Quick question: ladies who do pocket scrapping like Project Life or Picture My Life, do you count those pages as long as they have something scrapbooky on them (title, journaling card, etc.)?

Here is the first page I've done since my big spending this past weekend. The bg page with the little girl sledding was cute and I wanted it for the photos of Tiny Tot on the ice slide. Pictures from inside the ice event were all taken with my cell phone, my battery had died just as we went in. At least I have some shots regardless of how good they are.
