We are so excited to welcome you to our Member Company LoveFest. Since 2007, Splitcoast has welcomed some of our favorite beloved brands to our forums and galleries. Over the next 11 days, our companies will bring you a fun, new challenge each morning.

CHALLENGE : Our challenge today is to create a card that shouts "Puppy Love!" Share your warm and cuddly critter cards. Your dessert option is to use a thread of affection (thread, twine, ribbon, etc.).

You'll have until Monday, March 3rd at noon Central to share your challenge entries. Each of our Member Companies will have a prize to award, and at the end of the event, we'll have great prizes to award to 10 of our fabulous Challenge Queens who have completed all 11 challenges. Cool, huh?

Upload your creations (they don't have to be cards!) to your Member Gallery and use today's keyword to play along.

I don't think there is a special gallery; I think you just need to be sure you put in the correct keyword for each challenge. That's why the gallery path when you click above is home > search: LOVEFEST2014A.

It isn't a card drive. It's just a series of challenges.

Hey, Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Just getting going on my Saturday morning and hoping that a certain volcano doesn't keep us stranded here - we are away from home for the weekend (just DH and I), and now the airport is closed. :(

Thanks to all who have posted cards so far! Emily's right - the 'gallery' is keyword driven, so make sure you include the correct keyword when you upload your card to your member gallery. To see the other entries, you can either search by keyword in the gallery or click on the link in Lori's post above.

These challenges are just for fun, to introduce you to our member companies and let them host a little 'open house' in their forums. There will be prizes too, so stay tuned for a new challenge each day! Feel free to ask questions and hang out and chatter in the challenge threads, too. We love it!

Linda, there's a link to a Tracking Sheet in the first post. Lydia normally updates that every day, and it gives the name of the company hosting the challenge, as well as the basic theme. That's an easy way to see what the new challenges are each day.

And the volcano is Kelud on Java. It was a large eruption a couple of days ago with lots of ash.

I had fun doing another card- this time with a raccoon and bunny- and I emphasized the rustic theme with a woodgrain embossed and sponged background. Added some pink dp for softness, and finished with a button/ribbon/twine trio. Here's LOVEFEST2014A Furry Friends
