Default Hello from Arizona

Greetings! I've been reading posts while waiting for membership approval and liking what I see. I am new to cardmaking and hoping to find information on what tools etc to start out with. Already ordered a Xyron as I know already I will "need" one for my first batch of cards. I want to make a bunch of birthday cards for my quilt guild. I have some quilt paper that I want to incorporate into the cards and figured I'd run bigger pieces thru the machine and cut to fit. From there, not sure, but have really enjoyed browsing and learning so far.

Hi Cactus and welcome from New Zealand! Xyrons are great - I have two! What a good idea, making cards for your quilting guild. Have fun exploring the forum and do ask if you have any questions.

Welcome from Central New York! Two of my brothers have lived in Tucson for years and call me to brag about the warmth there when CNY is in the midst of a blizzard! There was a cute scrapbook store there...Hope it's still open.

My first time on SCS I spent 8 straight hours looking at the Gallery! Ask questions and someone will answer.
