Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the week ending January 26, 2014
Hello CAS Stampers,
It's my turn to start our weekly CAS Favourites thread and I've got a lot of gorgeous cards to share with you, including a couple by "new to me" stampers. Please take part and add some of your CAS favourites from the past week.
Here are mine:
January by #Francine - love the frosty stencilled blue rays coming out from behind the snowflake **new to me stamper**
Thinking of You by beesmom - glad to see yellow flowers - they always make me think of spring and they look great against the grey sponged background **new to me stamper**
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.

Thank you, Susan, for listing among your favorites. It's always a thrill to be on this CAS thread since IMO, it is one of the hardest styles. It's easy to layer stuff on, but it is hard to leave it off. : ) Hugs, Sallie
Thank you Miss Lisa for selecting my card this week. You made my day!!! Another thank you to Tessa Duck for the notification.
Huggies to both of you,
Penny
Thanks to Susan and Lisa for each including one of my Christmas cards on your faves list this week. It's been a long week and there doesn't seem to be any end in sight over the next several days, so you've started my Sunday off with a welcome smile.
I have a LOT of favorites this week, and some have already been mentioned: cards by girlgeek101 , Arizona Maine , hobbydujour , k dunbrook , and Penny Ward .
But of course there's more to share

Love the washi! I'm just going to have to get some...and use it!
She is also a "new to me stamper".
rheddhedd
LOVE the intensity of color on these flowers!
Another "new to me stamper"
Thank you, Diane. for your listing my card among your favorites....and you sweet comment too. Thanks, Karen, for being the ever-present angel to bring good news. : ) Hugs, Sallie
I see from some of the long lists so far, that I have a lot of catching up to do from the gallery. Here are some of the beauties I found this week:
Heart Melt by this week's Featured Stamper, donidoodle I loved the colors and the perfect balance between the airy black trellis and the solid heart
Welcome Little One by Loll Thompson I'm not sure you can get much cuter than this sweet paper pieced elephant
Warm Colors in Just Ink by susanbri I really liked Susan's composition of the flowers on this card.
One in a Million Baby by nancy littrell I loved the colors in the DSP as a base for a baby card -- just the perfect mix between traditional and not-so-traditional.
Smell the Daisies Lisa's sweet flowers and bright colors make me happy.
WOW!! Susan, thank you so much...I was literally shocked when I saw the notification on my Rockin Robin card. I thought y'all would kick me out of the CAS classification, NOT favor it! Heehee, thought I had way too much stuff going on for CAS!
Now that I think about it, I'm thinking you girls in the east and especially the northeast are sooo cold that you just can't wait to see a robin and so, there's the explanation!! LOL!!
Really though, thank you so much, this is quite an honor! Love to you all and if I could, I'd send you our warm weather!!!
Oh and thank you Karen for notifying me!!

Gail, thank you for listing my card among your favorites. It means a lot to me...every once in awhile, you have a card that just "gels" and this was one of those cards for me. Thank you, Karen, for your sweet words in letting me know. Hugs, Sallie
Thanks Karen for choosing one of my cards! I have just started a gallery (been stamping for a couple years though) and this could be addicting!! (just like the rest of the hobby!)
Thanks Lisa and Karen!!! Y'all made my day!!! YAYNESS!!!!!

Hi Sue. What a sweetie you are for including my Casing Sharon card in your list of favorites this week. I so appreciate it. Hugs my friend! And once again, that you Karen for letting me know. I can't imagine how much time that must take to moderate this, but I sure do appreciate it

Wow, what a surprise to find my Warm Hugs card listed here - thank you Gail! And thank you Karen for the headsup, you're a real trooper!
I confess it's mostly a surprise because I would never, ever have considered it to be CAS - flat and minimally embellished for sure but not CAS in my eyes. Interesting how we all have different takes on what is or isn't a certain style!
