It's another week and time for another EASY mixed media challenge. Here at the Mix-ability forum we want you to have fun with different media so our challenges are simple and an easy way to step into this growing craft trend.
Use this challenge to any of your projects whether it's cards, canvas, scrapbooking, three-dimensional or whatever you have in mind. Have fun and get creative!
The challenge is to create speed bumps on your project and camouflage them.
- Use liquid glue with bumpy things (micro beads, chunky glitter, OR sand).
- Use liquid products that dry with a body (Crystal Effects, Goose Bumps, Puffy Paint, gel medium, etc.)
- Cover it with paint or ink refills and a brush.
Remember to use the keyword MIX51 when adding your project to the gallery!

I had a crazy busy weekend and have only had about an hour in my craft room since Thursday evening. Hope to make up for that today and find time to play along with this - it sounds like fun .
This has been a journey . Trains are part of my history so this sort of morphed into what you see.. I hope that the hot glue on the tracks will pass for the speed bumps... I am enjoying my Art Journal, and although just learning.. It is fun..

Well, I started something last night but I haven't had time to head upstairs yet to see how it looks in the cold light of day! I might have to go with plan B .

I finally made it - just before the next challenge goes up tomorrow!
First attempt: MIX51 Dream Tag
I don't think I really succeeded in camouflaging my dimensional stamping with Liquid Pearls, but I spent so long on this that I'm uploading it anyway .
Second attempt: WT463 Frosty Morning
I LOVE the texture from using both beads and flower soft under my paint, it looks way cooler in real life than in the photo.
Thanks for a fun challenge, it really got me thinking.
Everything looks fantastic! I'm so proud of all of you who took the challenge and when it got a bit frustrating you kept on at it until they turned out amazing! Thanks for playing along in the challenge!
The next challenge is going to be a fun one!
