The only thing on my frozen brain is snow, cold, snowmen, snowmobiles, and any other frozen object. If you didn't know, I live in balmy Chicago. It was so cold here the only design that came to mind when I got my nails done was, what else, a snowflake  :
So, since it's all I can think of, I challenge you to use snow, snowflakes, snowmen, or anything else cold-themed on your project.
For last week's challenge, I read several of your resolutions to get things done on time, make holiday cards ahead of time, use stuff you already had, and use die cuts. I think you could knock several of them out with this challenge, right?
In the spirit of continuing resolutions, I have continued on my sharing my photos and taking the next step towards mixed media home decor. I went back to the office today just to find out that my cube is moving yet again (3rd time in 6 months). Guess my little photo frame will be for my new desk just 3 rows over. I stamped snowflakes in a layer of gesso, but I think it needs to be thicker next time, but not sure.
I also made this little page - it's grunge board colored with gelatos then the snowflakes are stamped with gesso. I'm not sure what to do with it, though... anyone have any ideas???
Don't look too long at that, because you have got to see Sabrina's GORGEOUS winter scene in her sample. I'm STILL in awe, and I've been looking at it all day!
Don't forget to put keyword WT461 in your post when you upload it, so we all can see your Snowy Wonders .
I can't wait to see the warmness you create with your snow!!!

Fun challenge, Michelle! And so timely! We've been in the deep freeze here in the deep south, lol! Here's my Snowflakes & Ice Skates card. Thanks so much for looking!
Yesterday I gave the layered gesso technique a try. I still had my stencils out and there are lots in the box that have never been opened. I took one of them and created a one layer card using only pastels. Who knew you could make a card without stamps?
I live in Florida so we rarely, if ever, see snowflakes -- except on the news. We have, however, had some cold weather the past couple of days, although nowhere near what most of the rest of the country is experiencing. Here's my card for today's snowflake challenge --

Fun challenge for me, since I'm in the Seattle area and haven't been shoveling endless snow! I am so sympathetic to those who have been shoveling snow and suffering through really cold temps. I hope things warm up for all of you soon.
This adorable snowman is a new-to-me stamp, and I just love his sweet expression! Sending this card to someone who needs a little extra love right now!
