After last week's sleepwear fest - I'm hungry! This week's inspiration challenge celebrates the dining room table, along with all the joys associated with good food and company. Our inspiration site the Global Table is filled with bright and decorative elements to make any meal or gathering a special memory. I think it will provide tons of inspiration to all of us!
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the site reminds you of it. :cool: Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Global Table site.
Use the keyword: IC423 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites � so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Everyone is so inspiring today! I did want to let you know that we have a nasty wind and rain storm here today. So power is cutting out occasionally. Please excuse my absence if we trees go down and we lose power. Thanks for understanding, and please keep being doubly inspired - every card is so beautiful!
I loved looking through the Global Table site, but ended up with one of the selected images. As soon as I saw it, I had a burst of inspiration--which is what Saturday's are all about, right?
Great site! I was inspired by the Languiole Cheese set of 4 (knives) with their colorful handles- and used a cute stamp from CTMH for my sentiment. I seem to be using alot of tropical colors lately- must be the colder weather Here's happy day

1. how lucky I was to have stumbled across SCS 10 years ago and find a community that has grown over time with people and talent. I am so lucky to continue to be inspired by everyone on this site!
2. The hubs has REALLY got to get that photo editing software I like loaded on my new computer. Seriously, that man is slackin!
