Welcome to another new year! 2013 had its ups and downs for me, and even though, I'm beginning the year with the flu, I am looking forward to a new year of adventures.
Today I challenge you to make crafty goals for 2014, and then go one step farther - BEGIN at least one of them. If it's just step 1 to achieve your goal, that works!
Every year I try to make a few crafting goal (or resolutions). This year, my goal is share more of the millions of photos I take with the ultimate goal to be able to make a few mixed media projects with my photos  . That one may carry over until 2015, but we'll see! I am starting with scrapbooking pictures that I took today, so not only are they off the camera, they have been edited and scrapped all today! I don't know about you, but that feels AWESOME !!!! Share that awesome feeling with me, and begin your crafting resolutions TODAY!
Check out all the AWESOME MOMENTS in the WT460 gallery. Make sure you use the keyword WT460 , so we can all congratulate you on your first step to an AWESOME 2014 !
Two of the fun WTUI folks were able to begin their resolutions today, too...
Sabrina's goal is to make 4 Christmas cards every month without signing up for the challenge. That one was TOUGH for her, because she had BRAND NEW stamps begging to be used, but what a trooper!!! And I think you'll agree that her items are AWESOME!!!
Toni's goal is one that I think most of us can relate to - she wants to be more on time with everything this year. Those deadlines sure sneak up on me, I know! In fact, what did happen to 2013?!?!?! Her card is so fun and definitely inspires me to be more timely!!!
I can't wait to see what you have up your crafty sleeve to begin 2014!
Several of you have said you wanted to send more cards. If you're looking for somewhere to send them, there are always new Cards for a Cause {Thanks, Teresa, for the reminder! I had totally forgotten myself and SO need to do this!!}.

OK, so I'd already decided to make a card a day, but I was thinking about this, and I remembered my quilling stuff, I've not used it before today, because it was so, well daunting. So I am going to attempt to become adept at quilling, and this is my first attempt!
This is a great idea Michelle!! I am having a lot of mini ideas the last few days. I want to use what I have - mostly a ton of dp that just sits there. I'd like to try a few new challenges or mediums also. I like the newness and creativity I am feeling with a new year.
Great idea Michelle...as thinking my goal is to write and send a card to 2 people...a month either family havent talked to in a long time or old friends... HERE is my first card to send...thanks for the visit...:0)

Well, I have a few resolutions and most echo what has been shared above in this thread; use the many dies I buy and don't take the trouble to get out, Use ALL the stamps I've bought recently that have not seen ink yet, and I am going to jump on with Sabrina and challenge myself to getting 4 Christmas cards completed each month; the last two years I have signed up for the Christmas card challenge and then not followed through, so I am going to really try to do this on my own this year. I also want to dig into the bins I have with alterable items and actually alter them, so will try to do the MIX challenge more often! How's that for a lot of challenges to myself?! Hope to be back later with a card : )

What I want to change for the New Year is to not try so hard to make every craft project totally unique. It's time consuming and stressful to not repeat a design or make sure I'm not repeating a theme that someone else has presented. I'm just going to go with whatever my flow is (I hope) and have less of a mess because I've pulled every produce out fully covering my desk top.
Feels awesome to use things you've stamped or cut out at a friend's house.
Here's my card .

My craft goal this year is to start using up all those embellishments and patterned papers that I just had to have -- and which are accumulating in my craft room unused. Here's my first attempt at reducing some of them.
OK.......my goal is to use up my scraps and I've started. We are in the middle of a blizzard here in Ohio so working is my craft room is the best and safest place to be today. For all of you in the path of this storm.........be safe and stay warm!!!

What a way to start the new Year - conquering my fear of prints. I always gravitate to solids for my cards. I was very disappointed with the photo for this card - the metallic flowers look like they don't match the rest of the card. Maybe I should resolve to learn how to photograph foils and metallics! Here's my RESOLVE card

Thanks for the reminder! I posted it in the challenge, as well.

Cards are never a requirement for the WTUI challenge - any project will do! Yours is an awesome virtue that I hope sticks in your children, as it will serve them very well in the future!!!

One of my major goals for this new year is to ink up the new stamps I've gotten over the last several months; this is the first card I've made with the SNSS set, Forest Silhouettes. TFL
Here's my card. My resolution is to get my craft room in order and to donate the huge amount of cards I have made since 2007 that I thought I needed to keep.
So inspired by this challenge that I did 8 more cards today!
