I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that if you ask Gina herself, she'll definitely help! Her customer service is legendary. I believe you can contact her through her website...
Do you mean maybe Lipstick Red ? I keep stocked up on all colors and just went thru what I have and what is listed in the store. I didn't see Lipstick red and don't recall a rocket red.
Thanks! I sent an email, but I think they were too busy to respond.
I got an email from Gina that she and the family are moving to Milwaukee today . Apparently the warehouse will stay in McFarland .
So I guess I will need to try Red Hot .
I like Gina's reds because they are true reds and don't have an orangey or pink cast .

I didn't realize how many colors of red Gina K. sold. I use the pure luxury Cherry Red base weight for my Christmas cards. IMHO Gina's card stock is awesome .
It seems solid color craft paper is like yarn, if you don't buy want you need at the same time, you never find the same lot number again. Close to it, but not exactly the same.

I stocked up a few years ago on a lot of Rocket Red, but I have used it and I am now searching for a replacement.
It was impossible to predict how much I would need or to be able to buy a life time supply

I have one more piece of Rocket Red cardstock, and I compared it to the newer Gina K reds. I actually think that Red Velvet is closer to R.R. than Red Hot, but that's just my opinion and lighting. Red Hot has a little more orange in it, it's like a fire engine red. Red Velvet is less orange, and a little bit deeper in color.
Hope that helps! Either way, you're getting some great cardstock.

Thanks for comparing the two reds for me . I really appreciate it.
I will order some of the Red Velvet . I have been rationing my dwindling supply of Rocket Red and using even the tiniest scraps

Barbara. I will try to check my stock of Ginak rocket red tomorrow. If i have some I will send it to you...nothing in return please.
Merry Christmas!
Amber
Hi Barbara,
Our Red Hot is REALLY close to Rocket Red. It's a true, pure, bright red! The main difference is the texture. The Red Hot is not textured so it allows you do use embossing folders and you can stamp on it better.
I hope that helps. SO sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Our family just moved and I am a bit behind on the forums!
Hugs,
Gina K.

I must say I am in total love with Gina's papers. Ordered for the first time last month and just received the paper. Have been playing around with it. LOVE the weight and colors.
And OMG, the heavy weight card stock combined with copics?!!? AWESOME. No bleed through.
