Fall Beach Retreat... South Carolina
1st Annual Beach Retreat in Myrtle Beach, SC
Friday, November 8, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm
And/or
Saturday, November 9, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost � $100.00 per person ($105.00 via PayPal). Registrations must be completed no later than 5 pm on November 1st. You can choose to register online or through the mail. ( mail-in info is on the registration form). There are no refunds, but you may offer your spot to someone else. If you can only attend one day or the other, please let me know and maybe we can work something out.
We have alot of fun activities planned for both first time and seasoned stampers and if there is anyone who would like to pre-view the agenda, please feel free to ask, I will be happy to send you the information.
There is a lot of general info and details that comes with this sort of event and reading through the foloowing information should help to answer many of those questions. If any clarification is needed, just ask. Our main goal is to get-together and have fun. This thread will be our main way to communicate with each other and Here is where you find the final counts for swaps and other important information.
Shoebox swap ~ There will be three showbox swaps, you are welcome to participate in as many as you would like. So you will need to bring your idea and all the supplies (in kits) needed for making your projects with you. Please provide basic written instructions since you won�t be at the table with your project. Your project stays stationary; you�ll do the moving. You will know how many kits you will need to bring when our final count is in. You will also need two (2) completed copies of your shoebox project. This project needs be a full card (A2) with layers and embellishment(s) and shouldn't take more than 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Please provide any special adhesive that's needed.
Reminder: Because you will be switching tables, but your projects staying behind, it is CRITICAL that you provide basic directions for your project and Please include your name and SCS name so others can Thank you!
Swaps � ALL SWAPS ARE OPTIONAL. We, as the event coordinators, will be hosting two (2) swaps and you will know how many to make when we post the final counts. Each swap will include an extra card lfor a donation, giveaway or door prize. If there is anyone who would like to host a swap, please post information about the swap in this thread below.
Food � because food is also a big part of our event, please feel free to bring any snacks or treats you would like to share. We love homemade items! Please include recipe for sharing. Also main meals will be catered, please indicate on the registration form if you have any food sensitivites and we will do the best we can to offer alternatives. Bottled water and sodas will be provided. Bring your coffee if you want it.
Make & Take for All � Along with the showbox swaps, we will have three large group projects and three technique timeouts. So there will be 6 more cards or projects you will make & take. if you have a great idea and would like to teach, please let me know.
�Garage Sale� � Bring your stamps and stamping supplies to sell or trade. Current Stampin� Up! items must be offered for trade only; you can sell retired items. Sorry but we can�t be responsible for missing items so bring things at your own risk.
Goodie Bags & Door Prizes - It is the time of year for "Thanksgiving" so there will be goodie bags for everyone! If there anything any of you would like to donate to the goodie bags, please feel free to PM me. Door prizes work a little differently, so hoping to have at least one donation from Everyone who signs up along with outside vendors. So please let me know if you�d like to make a door prize donation and what it is.
Gift Swap � You don�t have to sign up for this one, but if you would like to participate, bring a gift related to our stamping passion. Everyone who brings a gift to swap will also leave with one. Value on these should be in the $5-10 range, and stamped projects are always appreciated! If it�s something you�d like to take home, it�s probably perfect! Be sure to include your name somewhere inside so the lucky winner knows who to thank. Wrap it up prettily to encourage �stealing�. REMEMBER: Stamping-related!!!
Other � Please bring your own labeled items for your personal stamping needs, including (alot) of your favorite adhesive and other items you just can�t stamp without, like: bone folder, paper cutter/scorer, scissors, straight edge, stamp cleaner and spray, AND CAMERA!
Nametags � One of the fun things that I enjoyed at another retreat that I attended was that we had to make our own name tags. So, I thought it would be fun if we made name tags, but instead of putting our own name on them, we would keep with the spirit of giving and we will trade name tags with someone else in the group the first day of the event. What do you all think? I think my bling always looks better a crossedl the room on someone else anyway... Lol!
REMEMBER: Complete the registration form and forward with your payment by 5 pm on November 1, 2013. All funds collected will be spent on the event. Your registration is complete when your payment is received. If you have any questions, please ask! Looking forward to seeing you all in November.

One day works, the Ladies that have signed up can only come on Saturday. So I have been telling everyone that the Saturday session is $60.00. That covers all supplies and all three meals. Just let me know... We would love to have you join us. __________________ OLW: Joy |

Due to many contributing factors in everyone's lives. This event has been changed to being held only on Saturday, from 10-4 and the price has changed to be $25.00 which will include lunch and 7 stamping projects. We look forward to having you join us. we still have plenty of room.

We had a great time yesterday at our retreat. We had so much fun that we have decided to start the New Year off with a bang and hold another one in Feb. I will be startling a new a
