Can you believe this is our 5th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2012 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2013! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2013! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2013 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc13nov"

Wow... am I the first one here?!
My October Scraplift page has been finished since the 20th and have not been able to upload. I have been able to upload cards just fine... Finally tonight things seem to be working.
Unfortunately it looks like I won't make my annual goal since I'm 41 pages behind but I can't complain because on the bright side I did get 55 page done so far! I've been scrapping for about 5 years & this is the most I've ever done!
So with that said & other things on my plate this month, I'm going to set my goal at 2 pages (progressive & scraplift) then I'll try to catch up by participating in the Stash Busters later this month.
November is it?? Already, but I love October......... November is starting out rainy and the annual Greater Gulf Coast Art Festival is starting later today. Here is hoping the rain won't stick around long.
I will have a much lower goal this month, I will set my goal at 6.
I'd like to try to get 12 pages done this month! I'm working on getting my 2008 album finished. Hopefully that will put me through a good portion of the summer months!

My goal for the end of the year is to have 112 pages completed. I have 95 so far. I need 17 to meet my goal, so I will strive for 9 pages in November. I wonder if I've lost track somewhere along the way, oh well, moving on from here.

It's been a while since I was last part of this thread, but I'm back! Thanks to Wendy for reminding me of the scrapbook goals challenge a while back My goal for this month is 20 pages...my goal for the year is 100, and so if I manage 20 each for November and December I can make it!
O.K. I'm going to set my goal for 8. I have several pages in the works, but have had a lot of other things going on and haven't been doing as much scrapping. Weather's been gorgeous here and I've been enjoying that!
I'm going to shoot for 15 this month, I need to get more of my weekly pages done and print as many as possible with Stampin' Up!'s print sale this month!
Also, I just uploaded this page to the Oct Gallery, but I'll link it here: Valentines
It uses Cheryl's EMS 50 sketch!

** Christy, Great to see you back scrappin' with us, we missed you! Wendy is awesome at keeping all of us moving forward together
I actually got some scrappin' done last night and earlier today. I hope to work on more pages tonight. I keep telling myself what I really need to do is finish all the 1/2 - 3/4 pages I have and get those in my albums. It would make for a big Nov just getting all those done and would help me have a chance at getting my goal. I have been trying to pull them all out and put them in a pile, whew. Way more than I expected partially done ...
Got my October scraplift completed...sat on my desk for 3 weeks! I'll post on Monday since I can't upload on Sunday's. Hope to get to play more tomorrow :-).

A couple months ago, I dragged out an old album from when I first got married and I finished up a layout I'd started probably EIGHT YEARS ago What's funny is that it took me less than an hour to finish the layout after it sat all that time.
I'm a total organizational nerd, so last month I sat down and wrote down all the things I need to scrap on little bits of paper and put them in a big container (I already had them written in a list since I had to organize a giant pile of photos I got printed off from Winkflash--told you I'm a nerd). I've been drawing about 5 slips of paper at a time and then I work on doing those specific layouts--it's amazing how much more actual scrapping I get done when I'm not spending hours just looking through my pictures! Plus I like the random element of just drawing the slips of paper and being surprised about what I'm scrapping next, and I'm getting progress made in albums from 2003 up to this year
I havent scrapped in about 6 months or more so I am going to try for only 4 this month. Hope I can get back into the swing of things....
Patti, your post is exactly what I was thinking. Hoping I can do just 4 pages because I have not scrapped pics in months. I want to get back into it the swing of scrapping.

Okay ladies...two days in a row I'm in my 'woman cave' as my DH calls it ;-). I took photos of my l/o from yesterday, looked in the Nov Gallery (WOW Lela, you're rockin' the pages!), and now pulling out some photos...yeah, so happy!!!
I'm setting my November goal to 5 - that's all I have left to reach my yearly goal!! Woo hoo! So excited! I guess that means next year I'll have to up my yearly goal! ;)

Wow, I love this idea! I might have to "scraplift" as I sure don't seem to be getting my older picts done

It's kind of funny how much better I focus on getting pages done when drawing event names out of a hat. Took me forever to do the paper slips since I have SO MANY pictures to scrap, but now I'm totally wishing I'd done this a long time ago. And I'm thinking about doing something similar with dinner ideas too so that hubs and I aren't always eating the same three things every night...I do have more recipes than that ;)

I did something similar at the beginning of the year. I went through my folders on my computer and printed out photos I hadn't gotten to in the through 2007-2011. I decided to create the 2012 & 2013 as digi pages (thought that would be quicker but not really ;-) ). I put the photos in the plastic photo boxes that all go into 1 large plastic box and I pull one out when scrap...still need to scrap more often but I like knowing if I'm doing a digi challenge that I can just pull from 2 years; not sure what I'll do when 2014 comes along. Need a few long weekends to just play, build up speed, and get more than a few pages completed!
I realize that when I haven't scrapped in a while I am so sloooooowwwww; need to scrap more often to pick up speed! ;-)

I feel that I am slow most of the time, if I get more than two (usually only one) done in a day that is because I am at a crop and have 20 or more "kits" made up in advance. I am able to craft some everyday....... kids are out of the house, my mom lives alone and is able to care for herself, we have a schedule, of sorts, for the DGK's activities and sleep overs. That leaves me most mornings in my studio.
Yup, I am blessed to have a DH that is retired too, and, helps a great deal around the house. He is doing laundry now and will empty the dishwasher sometime this morning, I cook and do dishes, he puts them away.
I didn't meet my Oct goal of 10. I got 4 pages done and 2 started. I did work on a paperbag book that I made for my nephews to take to Disney and I finally finished working on my printers drawers. I have 3 original drawers and got it in me in May to use it as large collage frames. Of course I put that off until the last few weeks! I got tired of looking at the pile sitting there. So now they are done and hung up! They look great! Anyway I have a few goals for Nov, I need to make 2 more name frames, Christmas cards I have to finish (of course start thinking about Christmas stuff) so I am still going to shoot for 10 or whatever it takes to finish my youngest dd school stuff to date
