Mon Dieu! they only serve coffee not a drop of tea
we'll sneak in our own tea and hope they do not see.
Let's take a little walk around the block
notice all the flower boxes with trailing phlox?
Look all around and you will see
the emblem known as the fleur de lis.
It adorns, helmets, t shirts and hats
and when you see it shout, "Who dat!"
Anybody up for swamp tours?
don't be scared if the gator roars.
Be sure to keep your arms & legs in the boat
you don't want a limb to end up in its throat.
We're in the birthplace of Jazz

This is where McIlhenny's began
the best tasting Tabasco sauce
add it to your dish or in your pan
without it, chefs would be at a loss.
Your tastebuds will get a tangy, little zing
use too much and it's like a bee sting.
Don't worry, I've called ahead and ordered 42,000 beignets for our party
there'll be enough for us to eat rather heartily.
Our mission this week is to bring some cheer
to a woman who has had a rough year.
CHALLENGE TRANSLATION:
Bring words of cheer and things you would find in Louisiana. Pelicans, fleur de lis, beignets, gators, shrimp, crawfish, catfish, Tabasco sauce, Mardi Gras, musicians, flower boxes, wrought iron fences, magnolias, gumbo, etc.
EXTRA POINTS FOR EXTRA BEIGNETS (EPEB):
Bring a Mardi Gras theme.
If you bring strands of beads* we'll know what you did so come in the back door.
*flashing your boobs gets you strands of beads at Mardi Gras, or so I am told.
DESTINATION STATION:
This week our destination is the Big Easy.
