TYPE OF CARDS REQUESTED:
Christmas and Holiday cards. These are older folks who don't drive or get out often. This will be a wonderful way for them to be able to have cards for their family. While the focus is Christmas; birthday, Easter, and other holidays are fine...if you want to pull some from your stash, that is fine!!! Please include envelopes! Thank you so much!!!

Also, we are starting an OPTIONAL challenge each month. This is only optional and you do not have to play along to send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not.

30 from my stash going out tomorrow. I concentrated on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thanks ladies for allowing us to serve others. It's a true blessing!

I'm in on this one!!! What a wonderful cause and they will be going to my Homestate of Alabama....ROLL TIDE!!!!!
I'll get some out this month, but will be MIA next week, actually going to Alabama to celebrate my Mom's 90th birthday, she is in good health and very active, we have 102 attending this party.....whew I'm happy to do it but will be happy when it is over  |

I'll be getting cards ready for this cause. When I first saw Madison I thought it was in Wisconsin because that's where my parents met and got married. I'm sure the folks will all thoroughly enjoy getting our cards and it will make them feel so special!

Thank you for mentioning Hanukkah cards. We have a few friends and neighbors that celebrate the Jewish holidays and a couple that celebrate Kwanza too. Never even thought to make a card for those holidays. Thanks for the eye opener!!

I will be putting 10 cards in the mail tomorrow. I did NOT make them. They were cards that I won in a raffle so I am not posting them anywhere. Great cause and thanks for the work you do for us!

OH I wanted to mention last week I got 2 Thank You letters from 2 of the causes we have sent to, I forget the months but it makes me feel so good to know they appreciate them. Thanks to everyone sho finds these causes......

I just wanted to let everyone know, I saw Andrea today. She says she thinks it is close to 200 cards!!! Wow, you all are so awesome!!! She also said some of the residents asked if it would be okay to send some to soldiers, (so sweet) since they don't get to do that very often. I thought it was wonderful that these seniors want to share the JOY that they are receiving!!! Thank you all so much!!!
