It's Sabrina here as your hostess for the WTUI challenge this week - happy Thursday, everybody.
It's Halloween today, and there will be plenty of masked kids out tonight. We can have fun with masks too. Whether it's images with masks (and not just Halloween, but Mardi Gras or Carnival!), masking/reverse masking techniques or using masks or stencils, it's all good! Just have fun with a mask somewhere on your card.
Be sure to use the keyword WT451 when you're uploading to the gallery, and come back and post a link for us here when you've uploaded your card.
If you're not sure how to link a card to this thread, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Masking is rather foreign to me and I rarely stamp (world's worst stamper), but it's good to get outside my comfort zone now and then. Thanks, Sabrina, for challenging me to expand my horizons! Here's my card, Full Moon Rising

You know I loved this challenge, Sabrina! I even tried something new on my second card for your challenge, which I combined with one of the HYCCT challenges for today.

I just wanted to say well done to all of you who tried something new for this! I'm amazed that at least a couple of people had said they'd never even used basic masking, and others have stretched themselves to try something a bit different.
The lovely creations with masking fluid have indicated to me that it's time I junked my old bottle, got a new one and tried this technique again .
Here's one of the cards I created Buggy Birthday
I don't have a great selection of stamps, but I quite like the simplicity of these designs. As usual my cards look better IRL!
