Another vote for Penny Black ! I love their hedgehog and cat stamps.

I also like the "Sketches" collection of stamps by Inkadinkado .

Impression-Obsession has loads of gorgeous stamps that are fun to color. I love the Alesa Baker collection.

If you are open to digital stamps, my favorite company lately is A Day for Daisies . They also have about 10 sets of photopolymer stamps . If you follow their blog, every week you can download a free digital image, and there is usually a free image to download in their store. This week it's a cute squirrel.

I have a long wishlist for Eat Cake Graphics , although I don't own any yet!

Lili of the Valley

UK company but ship to U.S. Very good reputation for reliable delivery.

Adorable characters and not too hard to colour.

If you like whimsical stamps, I vote for Paper Smooches. I've used the Chubby Chums a lot, and they are easy and fun to color.

And this Penny Black set, Betsy Bluebell, is also one of my favorites:

I love to color images. It's my favorite part of creating cards. Some of my favorite companies include: Lili of the Valley, Whimsy Stamps, SP & Company, High Hopes, Wild Rose Studio, Wee Stamps (which you can also get as rubber stamps through Whimsy Stamps), and Stampavie.

Purple Onion Designs just released some awesome Stacey Yacula Christmas Stamps.

There are also some stamps from Stephanie Ackerman in the Purple Onion store that are great for beginner colourers.

Another vote for Penny Black - mostly the Margaret Sherry designed animals eg: cats, dogs, mice, hedgehogs etc. I also like Elyzbells (UK) stamps although sadly, they are no longer in business. Penny Black has released some of the Elzybells designs in clear sets. I also love Wild Rose Studio and Lili of the Valley teddy bear stamps. And pretty much any brand of snowman stamp especially Stampin' Up snowmen.

Oh yes, I like Inky Antics stamps too - only have a couple of cat ones but I love them! I have also recently discovered Mama Elephant stamps - plus I couldn't help but get the icecream stamp set that Kristina Werner created (which is exclusive to Simon Says Stamp). It is just amazing how many fantastic companies are out there creating some really great stamps/stamp sets to suit pretty much any style of cardmaker

My absolute favorite is the Year of Flowers series from Papertrey Ink. A company I found recently is Art Impressions: I love their Girlfriends series and the Shake Your Booty series.

Forgot to add my favorite stamp set.

It is Loads of Love a Stampin' Up set. Sorry I don't know how to add a link
to it.

It has a pickup truck with a cute sentiment-Thought you could use a little pickup, and some things to put in the back of the truck..like a Christmas tree.

Also there's a separate accessories set to add more to the truck. I think dogs is one in that set.

Happy stamping!

Tammy

And what a great thread, finding lots of cool stamps I've never seen.

I agree with everything above-except a couple I have not heard of so yay for me-off to look at them!

Peddler Pack does a lot of nice background stamps 4 x5ish or you could use them for the whole image. You can find them on ebay.

There are a lot of choices of style-like if you like the anime look in people or regular...
and what you want to color with-markers vs watercolor..I think Stamps happen lend themselves to watercolor really well (closed company but often on ebay).

Also are you looking for very detailed designs? Northwoods is terrific but highly detailed.

And subject matter too...there are companies that have huge animal collections for example, like dogs. Florals, scenes, people, etc

Any hints for us?

Though they have gotten harder to find in the US, I am rather fond of Bidmalarna stamps. Quite a few of the "little girl" cards in my gallery are from their line. Here is a link to images of these stamps:

https://www.google.com/search?q=Bild...w=1366&bih=657

I think Wild Rose Studio has the most adorable stamps for coloring:

https://www.wildrosestudio.co.uk/

Northwoods is one of my favorite companies, though I do admit I seldom like them when I just see the stamp. However, when they are worked up, they are wonderful. Here's their 2014 Christmas board. I have my eye on the Santa sleigh against the moon one in the bottom right corner. I think that one can be made extra special with fabric or dies for the curtains.

I was also fond of Flourishes stamps which are still available on many retail sites.

I do love Penny Black Stamps, but have stopped buying them again since they changed their angel policy back to their old Draconian one. I don't sell my cards - no one would want to buy them (LOL), but I do want to support those who are lucky enough to do so.

Skippet-
Here are two places you can get Bildmalarna:

Bildmalarna Stamps - Buy Now!

Bildmalarna Loves Rubberstamps

I have not worked with them yet but they look pretty solid.

I agree with you about Penny Black. Very disappointing. I like a lot of their stuff. I dont know if I will never buy any, but it will certainly slow me down significantly.

This is a Wild Rose Studio stamp I colored recently, with a non-toxic solvent called Xtra Mild Citrus. It's made by EcoHouse and I'm happy with it. I still need more practice with my coloring skills though.
