We had our first snow in Sweden today...so it�s white outside my window! My Mix-Ability challenge for you this week is to create a clean and simple design, i.e. a design with lots of white or open space and one main focal point with mixed media. Use at least two kinds of medium: acrylic, Gesso, Ink, Glitter, Gel, etc. You can use any technique you wish and add embellishment, as long it still looks clean and simple!
We hope you're having fun with these! Our goal is to make mixed media, easy, approachable and FUN! We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it !
Here are some ideas:
1) Apply 2-3 medium on a paper and then use a punch or a die. Place it on your cardstock.
2) Create a landscape or scene with different medium and cut out a piece of it!
If you want to start these challenges in the pages of an art journal, instead of a card, or on scrapbook pages, or on 3D items - please know - ANYTHING is welcome! We want you to learn and enjoy!

This is a bit too CAS for me, but at least it came out exactly like I imagined. I'd like to add snowflakes or something, just not sure what. CAS Wonderland

Hi. This was a fun challenge! I used a card I had posted a few days ago as it fit the requirements and also submitted a journal page (I hope black space counts as open space!). The card didn't mention the gesso coating underneath but it's there!

Here's my entry into this weeks challenge. I really struggle with clean and simple and this is as close as I could make it! I did an Art Journal page for my project.
