What is a Scraplift? A scraplift is when you find a page or pages in that person's gallery that inspire you. You could choose to use the same colors, same layout, same embellishments ... It does not have to be exact but it should be easy to see what was similar.
Clarification of "How To Participate."
#1. Sign up for this challenge.
#2. See who is in the sign up list ahead of you.
#3. Go to that person's gallery and choose a LAYOUT to lift.
#4. Post your layout along with the original. Please make sure you use KEYWORD: SPLT13oct
Sign ups will continue until October 15th. Layouts must be posted by the 31st!
IMPORTANT NOTE FROM HOSTESS: This challenge is only as good as it's participants, since everyone who signs up needs to participate for it to be successful. If you have signed up in the previous month and did not complete your lift, please do not sign up this month. It is not fair to the other participants. If you sign up and find you will not be able to complete the challenge during the month, please let me know ASAP! Thanks
We're up to 8 people already and it's only Oct. 2nd! I just LOVE this challenge! We have so many awesome scrappers here! I can't wait to find out who I'll be scrapping once the sign-up closes at 11:59.99 pm on the 15th!
Okay, I want to sign up but I scrapped Mary Pat last month and want to try scraplifting another person, so I guess I'll wait and see who signs up after Mary Pat. BTW, Mary Pat, I loved scraplifting you, so don't take it personally!

Considering I do not think I am scrap worthy, no issues! :-). I'm also okay if you want to swap positions with me & you can swap from Cori & I can swap with you...you're both in my FAVE files so I'll be scrap lifting from both of you eventually anyway ;-). Just let me know if you want to swap spots so I know which page to post here!
Mary Pat, that would be great, and very appropriate for us to trade months to scraplift each other! Lela, could you switch Mary Pat and me so I am scraplifting Cori and Mary Pat is scraplifting me? Thanks.
Oh goodie, Sharon! It's equally as fun to see what gets picked from my gallery and the scraplift as it is to do the scraplift from someone else's gallery! I love this challenge!
I have mine picked out from Sharon's gallery & I'm hoping to work on it Sunday. Heading to Stamp Camp tomorrow which is card making & I have 13 ATCs due next Sunday & I haven't even started yet. Yikes I'd better get busy instead of surfing!
Your page is NOT dreary!! That's the way of heritage pages because they use darker pictures and papers for heritage themes. Your page looks so elegant!

I finished my page, but not completely happy with it! Sharon's page is so wonderfully cheery, and mine is so dreary!
Here is Sharon's:
Here is mine:
I love your page, it represents the time of the photo perfectly! I did a family heritage album for my Mom and the look is the same...very vintage! love it!

Both using heritage pictures, they are two very different looks.
When I initially saw your page in your gallery, I didn't recognize it as a scraplift of my Snow page, but once I read that, I compared it to mine and the layout is quite similar. Amazing how different two pages can look, yet have so many similar traits. That's why I love to scraplift. It gives you ideas, but lets you take it your own direction.
Thanks for "lifting" one of my pages, Sharon. It's an honor!
