My name is AnnMarie and I am hosting a {virtual! :smile:} Paper Pajama Party (also known as a fun new blogging group)!! I will be the one in the pink slippers!! :smile:

I am looking for a special group of ladies to invite to my party!! Do you love to stamp and or scrapbook and create lots of fun things from paper?! Do you like to do challenges and swaps? Do you like to play games and make new friends and indulge in the occasional midnight snack (oh wait...that one is me!)?! Ok, only rules are that they have to be taken the day of! You can post as many pictures a day as you would like, but only get credit for one per day!

I have bible study this morning then home to finish prepping for tomorrow's class and football guests tonight. I have 12 people signed up for the class. Wonder if they will all come? I sure hope to get some orders!

I'm here! I'm here!!! I'm glad I didn't log in and realize that ya'll were MIA. I would have been in a panic! I would have to call Mr. Splitcoast himself and say, "My friends are gone, and I miss them....please get them back PRONTO!" LOL

I haven't posted anything new to my blog, but I have been working on it. I had someone look at it, and they gave me a few suggestions of things to do, so I've been doing some rearranging and boring site work stuff.

DH is leaving Sunday to play golf in Atlantic City until Wednesday. Sunday is our bi-monthly crop at the firehouse. Tuesday is Scrap N Chat. Last Scrap N Chat I told my Mom that DH would be away and we should crop from Sun-Wed. I was only kidding, but when I went over there today, she said "Are you coming over Sunday evening after Scrapping at the firehouse???" haha!! My friend is going to scrap one day, but she is retired and does craft shows for a living now and needs to do some knitting. We told her to come on over and knit, talk, and eat. We're such a bad influence!

Funny Story - Only you guys could understand and appreciate this. While I was cleaning my scrap room, I found the prettiest butterfly on my work table. It was small, tan paper, with patterned wings, and looking vintage. I thought oooh that will be really pretty on a card, but I had no idea where it had come from. When I picked it up, it disintegrated....it was a dead real butterfly, not an embellishment!

Congrats Carole on 12 people for your card class!!! I hope you get some people hooked and get lots of orders!

AM - happy happy birthday!! I hope you do something special tonight.

On a completely un-related house building note!! (See what I did there?!) LOL :cool: WE DID IT!!!!! We got all of the plywood up on the roof yesterday!!! One step closer to moving in!! I will take it! Want to see? The last photo is the view from one of our new bedroom windows.

Today DH and I are going to see Prisioners and then to Cheesecake Factory for cheesecake only. I am sure we will grab lunch somewhere. We have been so busy lately, that the time together will be so nice. I am really looking forward to it.

I found out this week that my cousin is in hospital. We have always had this connection even though we have never lived close and don't talk every day. When we do talk it is not uncommon to be on the phone for hours. He went in with swollen legs and breathing issues. They found that his kidneys had shut down. Yesterday they moved him to ICU and are leaning towards a diagnosis of GoodPastures syndrome. I am so upset. I have been texting him and yesterday asked if I could call him, he said sure. His wife answered and said he couldn't talk, he wasn't well enough. :( Please say a prayer for him. I know he is a fighter, but he is not in good shape right now.

It's not exactly a design change. You probably won't even notice a difference. The way it was set up, when you got to a page, there was no way to navigate to other pages. I had to set up categories so I had a new Tag Cloud and added the most popular posts in the side bar. I can't believe something so simple could take so long!

On the advice from other demos, I set up my class with Meetup. It costs, but 8 ladies showed up, one was my upline. The friend who let me have it at her house, is my upline's customer. So 6 are potential customers. I charged $5 and everyone asked for catalogs. We had such fun, it was a nice group of ladies. Meetup does not allow sales. So I kept the catalogs in my car and gave them to the girls as they left if they asked for them. I AM HOPING LIKE CRAZY FOR SOME ORDERS!
