I love the storage solution I have found for my larger sets (8.5 x 5.5 page protectors and boxes) and would like to do something similar for my smaller sets. However, I have had no luck finding smaller clear storage sleeves. The closest I have come is 5x5 CD storage sleeves. I hate having unutilized space like that! Has anyone found smaller storage sleeves for sets like MFT a la modes?
Try Avery Elle storage pockets. After Jennifer McQuire recommended them they are hard to find! I keep putting them in my shopping chart and the next time I look they are sold out. Check Jennifer's blog because she used some page protectors from Office Depot, too, that she cut in half. Also look at the Tim Holtz ones at Hobby Lobby to see if those might work.

I looked at both of those, but they are larger than I am looking for - they are 6x7. I am looking for 4x3.
another thought would be to use a regular 8.5x11 sized binder, and use the page protectors that have 4 pockets to a page.
those pockets would be about 4.5x5.5, so they'd come closer to fitting, and you could keep all the same company together with an index.

I've had them in binders before - but I am moving away from binders because they take up more room and they fall out so easily when i turn the pages. I am moving towards boxes where I can fit so many more in and easily flip through them.
I do the same system for my clear stamp storage but wanted sturdier pockets than the page protectors. I searched vinyl envelopes and found many options in many sizes. I ended up ordering from zumaoffice dot com. Search their website and you'll get many size options.

Exactly what I was looking for - I wasn't searching under the right terms! Thank you so much

They seem to have a number of choices... may I ask what brand you decided to use? and are you happy with them?
For anyone who wants to go the notebook route, I am using the Martha Stewart page protectors that are found only at Staples. They have flaps on the top- nothing falls out!- and have 1, 2, or 4 compartments. They come in 2 notebook sizes- I am using the 8.5" x 11" size for companies that I have a lot of, and the smaller notebooks/protectors (5.5" x 8.5") for companies I don't have so much of. Staples has the smaller notebooks too- couldn't find them at other office stores. I use different colors for different companies, and can mix the dies and stamps near each other just by changing the type of page. I do cut backings from the set packaging and put behind- it helps the page have more body for turning and browsing, which always gives me inspiration, plus then I have stamps or dies in front and back. I also have added a label with contents on the outside spine, since now I have more notebooks than I thought I would for some of the companies. I have been using this system for a few months now and love it!
(Not affiliated with MS or Staples, just love these products!)
@jkstampin...I am using the Oxford Utili-Jacs Brand. I use the 6x9 size for my larger stamp sets down to 4x6. I didn't want to have too many sizes so I got these vs. the 5x8 to fit some larger clear stamp sets. I can't remember the size of my smaller ones...but I believe they came in 4x6 and 3x5 size. The nice thing is they came in boxes of 50. They have held up very well. They aren't super thick but are much sturdier than the typical page protector. I'd Google them to find the best price/free shipping offer. I think I chose Zuma because they had a good price and a free overnight shipping offer at the time and I wanted them fast since I was in organizing mode. I LOVE the flip through file system. I haven't done it yet but I plan to make tabbed dividers to organize them further. I had them in binders before and the flip through filing system is easier for me too and takes up much less space. Good luck! P.S. I remember trying to find the right words for my search too to find what I was looking for. Glad I was able to help!
@timetrvlr...I've used the MS page protectors and they are nice! For folks wanting to go the binder storage route, these are a great option. They are pricier than the standard ones but as @timetrvlr pointed out, they have the flap closure and I noticed they were quite a bit thicker than the standard variety. I think the MS stuff goes on sale every once in a while.
