MMTPT265 ~ August 27, 2013 ~ Let Jett Setter make your travel dreams come true
WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY
THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TEAPARTY
AND CHALLENGE #MMTPT265
Let Jett Setter make your travel dreams come true
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
This is my story!
1. Maybe it was because Rhett and Bette Setter had the silly notion to name their daughter Jett Setter, but while growing up in Teapotterville, Jett always dreamed of traveling. She read travel guides and travel magazines, watched travel programs on public TV, and studied foreign languages, first French in high school, then French and Spanish in college. But mostly she dreamed of flying around the world, going to all the 42,000 fabulous places she had read about and heard about.
2. During her senior year in college, she applied to every airline she had ever heard of, seeking a job as a flight attendant. And what do you know, dreams really do come true. She got a job as a flight attendant and started out to see the world. And she loved every bit of it. In fact, she was known among her fellow flight attendants as the girl who has never seen a place she didnt love. When she wasnt flying for the job, she was flying for pleasure, using her airline flying privileges to see every corner of the world. Her favorite place, however, was Paris. She loved Paris in the spring. She loved Paris in the fall. She almost even loved Paris in the middle of a transit strike.
3. Jett never lost touch with Teapotterville, however. In fact, she always won the alum who came the farthest award at high school reunions, where she would share stories of the exotic places she had visited, and of course, tales of Paris. And her classmates would always say they wanted to go those places, too, one day. Jett kept that in mind, knowing that some day she might want to return to Teapotterville for good. When she did, she would start a travel agency.
4. That day has come. Jett has decided to start Jett Setters Travel and Tours Agency right here in Teapottersville. The only problem is that shes not sure where her tours should go. Well, Paris, yes, of course, thats a no-brainer. But the problem with having been everyplace and loving it is that its hard to pick just a few places to lead tours to. Jett isnt completely sure where other people people who arent the girl who has never seen a place she didnt love might want to go. Her clients just say Oh, Jett, you know best. You pick where we should go. And thats where Teapot Tuesday comes to the rescue again. We need to help Jett decide what sort of tours to offer. Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef? Skiing in Switzerland or Vail? Walking in quaint villages in Ireland or Scotland? Shopping at the Mall of America or on Rodeo Drive? Visiting the lovely vineyards in Europe or California? A cruise to a sunny island? So many places to go, so many things to do

I loved making this card as we are going back to Venice in September. The bg paper is the last piece I have of my hoard of Venetian paper I bought last trip there, just in time to buy more. Hope whoever gets this card enjoys at least the thought of going there and if I had tons of money nothing would give me greater pleasure that to actually send you there. HERE is my Venice.
Well, I was going to go to Paris as my favourite real life destination, and since it doesn't look as if we'll make it there this year :-(.
But instead I went Down Under to visit Susie and Sue... MMTPT265 Down Under Animals
Is anyone else having issues trying to get into the Quick Link to this challenge? Usually it is Bold Type and then when you click it takes your right to the gallery. It's not this way on my thread anyway. HELP.............................................. ...

I don't think I can edit the main post since Sabrina posted it for me, so here's the link to my card .
I'm so sorry! Blame it on my headache if you like, or just on me, but I never checked back. Normally links copy over . Both are now fixed and working properly.
Here's mine. I was hoping for a trip to the beach this year, but the week I had planned to go, the Doctor's office scheduled my husband another chemo treatment. We sure don't want to reschedule that. I'm already looking forward to going next year. MMTPT265 Tickle by yo sam - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Here's my card....... I just like to hang around by the lake and fish or go to Disney World. After having kids in college for 11 years (and not done yet) most of my vacations are "stay-cations"
