Default Airbrush with SU markers (or non-copic markers)?

Hi all,
I saw a technique of airbrushing using copic markers and wondered if this would work with non-copic markers. I thought I saw a tool in a SU catalog, but when I last checked, it was no longer there. Does anyone have experience with this tool? What was your experience? Thumbs up/down?
Are there other tools on the market to modify non-copic markers for airbrushing (or airbrushing effects)?
I love this look and would like to use it in my creations.

Many thanks!
Michelle

I know the tool retired with the last catalog - it was called a "color spritzer tool". I have one, and it works great with watercolor markers, if they have a brush tip and are juicy enough. It takes a lot of squeezin, though, to get a nice background

The tool was also called a "blitzer" back in the day and you used to be able to get them from other places. Not sure how available they still are, though.

there is a Crayola brand airbrush kit about, and there was one by letraset, for Promarkers. I bought one back last year, but searching now, even on Letrasets site, it doesn't seem to be available any more.

They are available at other locations too. Here's one site: PERFECT AIRBRUSH Deluxe Set - Perfect Paper Crafting

you could also look in the bst forum and post that you want one. Perhaps a SU demo has one s/he would gladly sell.
