Inspiration Challenge 400 ~ National Geographic Art Store
I'm so excited to be celebrating the 400th Inspiration Challenge . Each week I love finding new ways to inspire myself � and hopefully to inspire you. Thanks so much for joining me on this creative journey.
To celebrate Challenge 400, I will be giving away FOUR FAN CLUB MEMBERSHIPS. All you have to do is upload your inspired card to the gallery using keyword IC400 by 8pm CST on Thursday, August 8th, and I will randomly select the four winners. You will have one chance to win for each card uploaded � and if you're already a FAN CLUB MEMBER, you'll get an additional year of membership for free.
This week's Inspiration Challenge comes from National Geographic Art Store. As a child, there was nothing more inspiring than paging through my grandfather's National Geographic magazine. I believe it inspired my love of travel and exploring the world � and I still find the photographs to be so inspirational.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I�ve uploaded five of my favorites � so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. (FYI � I did see a few words that could offend some in the novelty gift section � so if you don't want to see them, stick with the uploaded photos.)
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Love the National Geographic photos - so I hope I can make a couple more cards.
Better renew my gift subs for the magazine too, I think I'm on the third reminder from them :rolleyes:, but they're Christmas gifts and July always seems way to early to be renewing them.
