Since July of 2004, we�ve thanked our Fan Club members for supporting Splitcoast financially with a themed monthly gallery. We think up a theme, and our twelve talented designers create away, filling the gallery with all kinds of things to inspire and enable, and to give you a little something extra for your contributions to Splitcoast. We know you love to ogle the projects every month, and we know you�re all immensely talented, too.


Then we thought - how fun would it be get our Fan Club members to play along in challenges with us? With that thought, Dare to Get Dirty week was born. We're happy to celebrate our eighth anniversary with you with a week full of stamping challenges.

So what�s this all about?

Easy. It�s all about you. Sure, we�re playing, too, but we want to see what you do when you're challenged!

Our Dirty Dozen Designers, both past and present, have a fun week planned for you. You�ll see a little of everything � inspiration, 3D items, color and layout challenges, techniques, tutorials . . . . and besides the stamping part of things, we wanted to add something else, more personal interaction! We�ve got everything all pre-posted and ready to go, and the girls will be there in the chat threads to answer any of your pressing questions. If you�ve ever wondered how someone does something, ask away. They�re there to dish and share their dirty little secrets with you! We will even have a fun, new live chat feature waiting for you in the challenge forum!

Do I have to do them all?

Nah, just do what you can or what grabs you, or just jump in and chat with the girls if you can�t actually stamp during the challenges. We want to see your work and get to know you better!

What if I do do them all?

Good question! How about a prize drawing for those who complete all of the challenges (combining challenges is cool, of course!) and upload by August 5th?

Number of Winners? Well, we probably better have a dozen! And our sponsors this year are our AMAZING Member Companies, so get ready to win products from your favorite companies!

So when does it all start?
Saturday, July 27th, we�ll post the first set of challenges here, and will continue posting challenges through Friday, August 2nd.

Are there any rules?

Have fun! Combine challenges, go nuts with one challenge and do ten entries. Upload to your gallery, post your creations on your blog . . . just keep the details of the challenges here, okay? (This means in your description, don't say: "This card is for Kim's challenge to use blue and yellow - challenge details are for Fan Club members only) That�s it!

Only Fan Club Members will be able to upload to this event gallery and win prizes, but everyone will be able to view and comment on your creations.

I haven't played before. Is there one challenge a day or is this challenges all day long? Is there a thread explaining details? I've read a few and can't seem to gather how it works.

There are 5-7 challenges each day - woo hoo! And yes, there will be a thread with all the deets in the Fan Club forum. The challenges are fantastic and the girls will share tips and tricks along the way

SWEET! I was wondering when DTGD was starting this year, and just went looking for it in the DTGD forum - guess I was looking in the wrong place!

Phew! Brenda, I am sure glad you posted how many days we have left because I was thinking June 27th and panicking! I don't have any time this week or next week to play! For some reason my brain didn't compute JULY!!! I had so much fun last year playing in my first "Dare to get Dirty" challenges.

I have added the blinkie to my blog too! That was easy peasy!

Muscat, I think the only timed challenges are VSN... this there may be a time limit to get the projects into the DTGD gallery though but, I think it's a few days or a week after it. the rules will get posted when it happens, the main thing is to enjoy it. some of the best cards I have ever made were done for DTGD challenges.

Mmmmmmm, I'm not saying whether I'm going to do any cards or not, that way if I do manage a few, or many, it will be a nice surprise for me but I wont feel presured. :( I'm still disapointed about VSN and my total failure to produce one card. I had some brilliant ideas. which is a bit like the fish that got away!!
