We R Memory Keepers has some really pretty collections, esp. Chalkboard, Harvest, and Story Time! I think these are the prettiest things I've seen from summer CHA yet.
I am liking some of the new Christmas papers: SEI Lifestyle - Chalet
And it's nice to see some Christmas papers that don't have the teal/aqua colour mixed in with them like alot that I have from the last couple of years. Love the colour but just so tired of it. Love the Echo Park Paper and Glue range too - could see myself using the whole range of that one
I noticed that there are some new Penny Black stamps being released too - one clear set is by Elizabeth Bell aka Elzybells - YAY!
The Sizzix Magnetic platform looks interesting too. Wonder if it will work with other branded dies such as Nestabilities?
The magnetic platform will work with other metal dies as well (the ones that FIT in the big shot - not the grand ones). Stampin' Up currently carries this platform now! It has been in HUGE demand!!! SU customers have till Thursday to order the platform and then it will be unavailable to order until this fall- they are having trouble keeping up with demand!!!! I have a blog update about it today on my blog.

I try to stick mainly to the company I represent, but IO and North woods always tempts me
I looked at the papers y'all talked about and I found myself going eh. I hate when something is so popular and I don't like it. It makes me feel like an old fuddy duddy kwim? I am not into the grunge look on papers at all. I have some, and I've used it but I'm not really a fan. After looking at several brands I've decided that I must be pretty picky. I guess that's good for my wallet though
I really like that chevron shaped wash I tape that We Are Memory Keepers has.
I've been enjoying a lot of the patterned paper sneak peeks. Now I see that Tim Holtz has Distress color glitter that sounds interesting. Also, We R Memory Keepers is keeping the punch board concept alive with boards for bags and boxes.
I have a list my arm length of the new stamps, dies and other embellishments Tim Holtz is putting out. The glitter will be tried by me as well. I do want a magnetic Sizzix platform for my Vagabond. I am saving all my birthday money and gift cards for this, so I can't wait for the stuff to arrive in the stores.
I saw Tims stuff in his sneak peek e-mails. Love almost all of it! I did like some of his last stuff, the blueprints, but, and please don't be offended ladies, much of it was , I felt, too American to work well over here. I have felt that for me, a lot of the bigz dies don't have a practical use- I love altered art, but don't really do much, as I would then need somewhere to keep it, and that raises the whole ugly head of storage again, lol,and I'm not a scrapbooker either. However, this batch- well whats not to like. The layering stencils are ace, although I have cut a number very similar on my Silhouette. The stamps- well I'll buy the one set just for The Raven! Love the stormlamp die, boxes & Victorian Silhouettes.And the bottles, quill pen & ink,moon & stars. Plus the owl & Moon Movers & Shapers.Oh, and the window & alphabet. And the railing fence strip die.I have my eye on the Texture fades folders- the wood planks/ inksplat set, and the starry sky/iron gate ones. Great Distress colours in Glitter. NEED the Chemical Laboratory paper stack, lol. Not too sure about the Christmas one though. I've already got my New Distress Marker colours on the way. I was really surprised by how quickly they were available over here. When they issued the pens originally, it was a couple of months before anyone had them for sale.
